State bank was very willing to grant me a loan, but was not able to clarify the exact loan I needed. That mistake cost me thousands at the end of the loan. There were mistakes made at closing with the Title company, which again cost me thousands.The people are very nice, but the business practices are to be desired.

I opened an account here because I live in De Kalb and needed to have a local, brick-and-mortar bank to conduct transactions such as change orders and cash deposits. They have done an excellent job of keeping me happy and meeting my needs. My primary bank does not have any locations nearby.
