“So the hotel was not the best... it was hot on the third floor...like super hot!!! The fridge wasn't cold bc it wasn't plugged in...nothing was plugged in... the ONLY reason I'm giving a good review is because of the service from Tonia! She did everything in her power to help us feel better and be comfortable. If it wasn't for her i would have checked out as soon as I got here. She went above and beyond her job to where I thought she owned the place! Awesome service from her and so accommodating which was so appreciated! The pool was nice but hot tub wasn't hot....so no hot tub.”

“After ditching Hilton due to crap service and no long term stay rates.... Candlewood Suites easily become my favorite hotel but, this has absolutely had to be my favorite hotel of all time!!! Great location, great new renovated rooms, and most important of all the staff is absolutely theeeee best!! Tracy, Nancy, and their employees were so amazing to be around it felt like being at home with cool roommate's!! I also love how candlewood continues to be flexible with long term stay rates honestly i don't know why people stay anywhere else as a man that travels over 275 days a year. Kudos candlewood of Decatur you have earned my most favorite hotel ever award!!!!”

“Management is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast includes make your own waffle (my favorite), cereal, pop tarts, bagels, Danish, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, milk and coffee.”
“It all depends how you see things honestly, to me it was a great deal and a good place to rest if you need something affordable. It is also close enough to stores and restaurants but far enough to isolate yourself if needed. The rooms are what they are get some sleep or start fresh if you need something with everything included. I moved from Phoenix Arizona to Decatur Texas so this place is good to start off if you have nowhere to go like me. Staff is great and does her job. Overall a good experience but not a place of luxury or a place to take the whole family. Just a quick get some sleep and move on.”

“Greeted by very friendly staff. Rooms were spacious and very affordable. No noise from any neighbors - felt safe. On main drag near Chili's, Starbucks and other fast food. Room needed some maintenance and left info with hotel regarding that. Would stay again.”
