Amazing place, they offer really good weekly rate. They are doing renovations. Can't wait to come back to see the new kitchen net rooms. Will always come here.

Hotel room was very very clean! Sparkling pool and sparkling customer service to match. Carol helped elderly friend with downstairs unit. It was a very nice stay and no uncouth folk there either. Exceptional!

Stayed several days. The staff was professional, helpful and patient - from management, cleaning, kitchen and front desk. The facilities are very clean a bit run down. Breakfast was solid and consistent. They do offer cleaning days of the week which is really nice

Everytime I travel through Deer Park I stay here and it always a pleasure, with clean rooms, great breakfast and wonderful staff, I recommend everyone who comes to Deer Park to stay here!!

Old, worn out, poor maintenance place.
Example - towels in rooms had worn out holes.
Also, Microwave was listed an available in room, but it was not.

This place sucks , they lie about their amenities when directly called just to have someone rent a room. When ask to speak to manager they called the police. I would not stay there . Will never stay at a surestay motel ever.

My experience was great until this morning. I encountered some unprofessional behavior & unsatisfactory service from the worker from this morning. She is nothing like the lady LeeAnn who has a great attitude & is very helpful. This woman from this morning was not helpful and had a bad attitude because she didn't want to do her job. Usually the breakfast is ready in the morning. But unfortunately the worker from this morning likes to sit down. She does have mobility issues due to her being extremely overweight but that should not mean the customer has to suffer. She had a bad attitude when asked a question about the waffle maker not being on like usual. Instead of her following some simple customer service guidelines like not to get nasty about it. Instead she yells from across the lobby which she should have got up off the chair and walked over to see the issue. She sent another woman who was just sitting in the lobby watching the news to come and assist. I'm not sure how many employees was actually on the clock because this lady walked behind the counter too. The other woman also heavy set stomped her way over to the waffle machine with such a stank attitude it was apparent at that time they wanted a lengthy in depth review. Up until today everything was perfect down to the room service. Even the attendant from yesterday was very professional. When I arrived she was standing at the door ready to work! She got to my paperwork and got me checked in quickly. It was only until this morning that I had the pleasure of encountering such unhelpful individuals. It's definitely not LeeAnns fault that I only gave this place 3 stars those stars are meant for her. If them other ladies was not just sitting down then the breakfast would be ready in the morning. I've stayed at some very prestigious hotels from Houston to Miami & I believe that this could be considered a luxury hotel too. The behavior of a few staff should not reflect the entire stay. They have a beautiful pool , vending machines , a washing machine area and a full lobby to sit and eat. The rooms are really nice idk what the one person was complaining about the room didn't smell bad. They have mini refrigerators , microwaves , mini coffee pots , hair dryers and a bunch of hygiene products. They also have a small love seat and coffee table. The people who do the room service have my respect so much. I really think they did an outstanding job & maintained honesty along with integrity. My belongings were taken care of with respect. I appreciate them alot. The 1st night we checked in there was lots of people in the parking lot and near the sidewalks but they were all very polite & friendly. Everyone was inside once it was about 10 p.m and the parking lot has plenty of space to park. We had no issues at all with safety or noise from fireworks. It was peaceful, quiet & refreshing. This area has lots of food places and stores near by.

The room smelled like pet urine and Lysol covering it up. I’m pretty sure it was the bed that smelled like cigarette smoke. Every time I laid down I had to adjust to the smoke smell. We came in late and exhausted and decided not to try to change rooms, as we also had pets with us, and instead just dealt with it. I will not stay at this hotel again unless the rooms are renovated and the breakfast picks up in standards.
Nearby activities: On the strip where there are multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. We traveled with pets, and there is a large (& separate small) dog park very close to the location.

the Pool was not working, jacuzzi was not working, 3 of the gym machines were not working (the only one that worked didn't need electricity) and the breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, or bread.. and by the way there was no syrup, I rang the bell to the front desk twice, no one came out so I ended up looking for the syrup by myself and found it in the employees only area.. SO MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS NEGATIVE..

Hidden Gem! Quiet, safe, and family-friendly. The rooms are always clean, well kept and comfortable. The customer service is unmatched. Lee Ann, the owners, everyone here Is simply amazing. Thank you Surestay!!!!

Bring a can of lysol to cover up strange smell in room. Not the cleanest...good luck.
