Nothing but good vibes as we walked through the door. My friends told me that this place was expensive, but my dog had a rabies booster, heartworm test, and heartworm medication for $108. Zero complaints here from me and we are definitely blessed to have this place in our community. All the best, from Moe and I.???

had no one else to care for my cat after his original vet wouldn’t see him for an abscess and stumbled upon this clinic, best choice ever to arrive! the front desk staff was so welcoming, the dr I believe gross, was an absolute angel to him, and the price was extremely affordable! he was given a shot, antibiotics, and we will definitely be switching him over to this clinic! our fur baby could not be happier after his visit!

This is our pet's Veterinarian. They are friendly here. there is a large enough lobby to keep the dogs well enough spread apart and a smaller section for cats, to keep them farther away from the dogs. There is water and coffee in the lobby while waiting, but I've never waited very long here. When we have some question's about our pet's health, they are always willing to answer questions. We are always made to feel comfortable, and the examination is done with comfort in mind. Different tests that are needed are explained, and costs are talked about upfront. We are always met with understanding when trying to balance finances with the tests we are needing to do.

It has been almost a year since I have been up here but I was there almost monthly with my fur baby. He passed away in January, but the people there at this hospital did everything to help me have the 19 (1 month shy of 20) wonderful years I did with him. They are caring and understanding and treat your fur baby like it was their own. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them with my other kitties.

I have never seen such loving care of the vet techs and The Dr.. This was our first time here with Zara and she was so relaxed and they took such good care of her and were kind and gentle. By far exceeded our expectations.. So, glad we found Deer Park Animal Hospital wish we could give more stars they deserve a lot more.. Thank you guys for all you did for our sweet Zara.

This place is an absolute joke. They know what your pet needs but won’t give it to them unless you bring them in and pay an extra 100 dollars just to take a look at them for a second.

Spent $300 for blood work on my cat in order to perform an emergency surgery on her face. She was unable to eat, drink, or swallow. This vet did the blood work and then wouldn’t do the surgery until FOUR days later. Our cat was starving, stomach was now completely sunken in, could see her bones.. and had to be euthanized. This vet did not take proper action.

Edit: Yes, I was contacted by the vet after posting this review. We did discuss euthanasia at the visit but I never consented to euthanizing the cat during that same visit. The reason I did not consent was because the service was going to be about $300, which I could not afford. I was upset that after stating I was only there for an initial visit, they attempted to euthanize the cat. And yes, I did mention to the front desk and tech that I was only there for the initial visit. And yes, I did say I would go somewhere else after the visit. Again, the reason was because the the service was going to be $300, which I could not afford. At the time, I was not made aware the vet would be willing to provide this service free of charge. I was also upset that had I not asked what was happening when the tech showed up with a towel, I would have been on the hook for $300, which would have likely gone to a collection agency and affected me for many years. I hope this statement clears up what I said over the phone. I’m sorry about the miscommunication.I visited on September 20, 2023. I was pleased with how easy it was to set up an appointment and the short wait time. I brought in a stray cat with a bloated belly. Dr. Rodick explained what was possible wrong with the cat very well. Where things took a wrong turn is when they attempted to euthanize the cat during that visit. I clearly explained to the front desk and then again to the tech in the room that 1) I was only there for an initial visit to diagnose cat, 2) This was not my cat but a cat I found, 3) I could not afford any further treatment but was going to try to crowd fund to help the cat. After I thought the visit was over, they asked me to wait longer in the room and then a tech comes into the room with a towel and attempts to take the cat. I ask where the cat is being taken to which is when I am informed that he is going to be euthanized. I stopped them from doing so and placed the cat in the kennel, paid the consultation fee, and left. I was very upset about this and will not be returning.

Most expensive in town. Don’t ask for advise because it’ll lead to more tests… no answers. Enjoy your $500+ bill.Read other 1 star reviews before picking Deer Park Animal Hospital. Common theme; business before care, complete lack of empathy and deflective responses. “Sell”, “Sell”, “Sell”
