“Definitely want to give props to Joe and his tech (Lorenzo? sorry if I have the name wrong, because he was great). The were able to come out to our RV site same day, knowing we were needing to leave next day. I wasn't sure at first exactly what the problem was with our suspension, but they figured it out pretty quick and were able to fix quickly as well. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, efficient, and fair. What more can you ask for? I've been around and you often have to just be lucky to get decent, honest service, so we definitely got lucky (no such thing, everything is by God's grace) with Del-Tex. I would trust these guys, just wish they were located in my home area.”

“Didn’t have a good experience. They said it would take 1-1.5 hours. Took 3. I had to return to work and couldn’t pick up that day. They left the windows open and it rained over night. Seat and everything wet. That’s not including all the extras they wanted to add. Disappointed.
Update: the group from Toyota reached out to me and made it right. I was very grateful. They made a mistake but more than made up for it. Thank you.”

“If you're looking for an honest, fair, and most importantly competent auto repair shop, you're in the right place! I took my truck here so they could inspect it because I suspected an oil leak. Alvaro was quick to pick up the phone and answer all my questions. He also only charges you for an estimate if they have to remove parts to find out what the issue is so that was a huge plus! Other shops were asking $50+ just to check out the vehicle. They took my truck in the next morning rather than having to wait until after christmas like another shop that I called. Alvaro was quick to inspect the truck and was straightforward (no bs) with what the problem was and what I could do to fix it. He advised me that they don't do any oil changes (oil filter was the issue) and just asked that I tell people about the shop. So here I am. Telling everyone that if they're ever in need of great service from honest mechanics, this is the place to go! Thank you again Alvaro!”

“We came in on a weekend from central Texas to visit our son stationed on base. Our vans electrical system went crazy and shut everything down, killed the power to everything. We couldn't figure out what was going on, just having got a new battery. We called him Saturday morning at 830 am and JJ did diagnostics and had us up and running by Saturday afternoon around 330. He wasn't even open that day, yet was kind enough to take care of us and get us back home in a timely and affordable manner. JJ was extremely knowledgeable, experienced and thorough and very Kind. “Reading some of these reviews I can see some people are overly critical or exaggerate. Marcos fixed my old Land Rover after I took it to other shops around town. I struggled for 5 months with a battery discharge issue while other places and dealerships gave me the run around. Brought it here and they found and fixed the problem in 2 weeks.
I had my radio replaced a while back by another shop and some hidden wiring was messed up. Over time, that caused a short in the radio and that’s what was draining my battery.
Fair pricing means different things to different people, and I think their price was fair considering it was not an easy problem to diagnose”

“To be completely honest, after reading some complaints from customers about Rudy's rudeness and lack of professionalism, I almost decided to take my car somewhere else. I am extremely glad that I didn't go with the negative recommendations.I was aware that the clutch was malfunctioning in some form of fashion, but I didn't feel particularly confident enough at installing one. Additionally, I might have had to leave my car for three weeks due to potential delays in parts and the fact that I would be on vacation/leave the following week. Rudy and his wife offered to hold the car for me until I returned, at no additional cost.I believe I have a deeper understanding of any previous misunderstandings because my best friend is a mechanic. I see a customer complaining that they didn't think a diagnostic was finished because the problem's root cause couldn't be found. Cars are complicated, so based on the post, Rudy probably only had the car for an hour and a half. Even if he takes a while to identify the root of the problem, Rudy and the other shop employees still need to be paid for their labor. Many people don't realize that troubleshooting can be expensive and take a lot longer than people would like. Do you work for free?When the clutch pedal on my car became stuck to the floor, I initially believed the clutch had failed. As was previously mentioned, cars can be tricky. In my case, a throw-out bearing failure destroyed a portion of my transmission that the bearing slides on. It appeared that I might need to replace my transmission, which would have easily cost an additional $3,000. You can see a sleeve in the picture of our text exchange thanks to Rudy's advice that we look for one. Additionally, the clutch is shown in the other image, still a lot of life left.Overall, I think directness and honesty were perceived as being rude. I thought he, his staff member, and his wife were very nice, especially when they offered to keep my car while I went on vacation or leave. The overall cost of my repair was reasonable—$3000 less than a mechanic that did not have the experience and knowledge of a repair kit or sleeve. Lastly, this is the best this car's clutch has ever felt to me. I will be recommending Rudy's Service Center to others.Service: Transmission repair”
