From my experience, 1 should check their audio sound system installation work for:
1. Dashboard cracks
2. Speaker & tweeter cut out shapes & sizes on classic vehicle door panels
3. Unnecessary/unused extra screw holes made that don’t line up or hold the speakers & tweeters
4. Door panel scratches
After 1 & 1/2 yrs, the passenger side tweeter fell out of its bracket & hanging by the wire which exposed a bigger than needed, misshapen hole for the tweeter. So I removed the door panels & saw how misshapen and huge the tweeters & speakers slots were; not to mention, all the extra screw holes made which weren’t used.
This is important to share because I will have a difficult time later upgrading/replacing these items with those huge, odd shaped voids, & extra screw holes in the door panels. Mind you, I went to them to upgrade from the original, factory sound system.

Jerry came out to work on my washer and guess what Jerry iam still going to the laundry mat i would rate a zero and you got paid twice from home depot telling them my washer was working fine you lied to Home Depot how many people do ya'll rip off horrible service stick to stero system probably only good at that and even then i would not recommend you.

Hands down the only place in Del Rio you can get a quality audio system installed in your vehicle. Customized to the exact sound you like. Every new vehicle we get goes directly to this shop for a sound system. And if we ever have an issue the owner guarantees his work. Top notch customer service for sure. Highly recommend ?

Calderon Electronics is where you want to go if you want a professionally installed audio system. The sound system was installed fast and professionally. It sounds very clear and clean. The owner is very knowledgeable and passes on his 40+ years of experience in installing quality sound to the customer.

We needed our Washing machine repaired and we have our protection plan through home depot. we called and they set us up with Calderon Electronics who (unfortunately) is the only person in our “area” who they contract with to service the equipment. we called and made the appointment monday of this week, and was told a tech would come take a look today (thursday) between the hours of 8am-4pm. I cleared my schedule and waited till about 1:30pm when I called to see if they had a clearer ETA at that point. no one answered, so I left a voicemail. by 3:00 I still had not heard anything so I called again and reached Jerry. I explained that we had an appointment and was wondering when they were going to make it out. he stated that he is from del rio area (i’m in Atascosa County) and that he doesn’t really have the time to come out but he wanted me to tell him what was wrong so he could order parts and come out saturday. I was throughly irritated as I waited all day and didn’t even get a courtesy call and could not continue to rearrange my schedule for later in the week as I AREADY did for the appointment date. I then explained that we are not available on that date and that was the reason we made the appointment for today. he then continued to talk to me like I was stupid & kept repeating himself about “that’s not how this works”…. well then why did I bother to make an appointment days in advance if I wasn’t even going to get so much as a call? my husband then had to speak to him, where he spoke to him in the same manner, not even acknowledging his failure to communicate.
we will not ever be using this company again, and hope that Home depot can contract with other companies that can properly communicate with its customers. we would rather pay out of pocket, then deal with people who are rude and inconsiderate of others’ time.

Calderon Electonics- (Jerry) installed our brand new custom fit in dash blue tooth stereo system (Sony AV RECEIVER model # XAV-AX5000) ..It’s fantastic! It’s easy to pair and operate. We enjoy the touch screen controls, the quality of sound from my iPhone Apple Music or YouTube playlist, plus the hands free telephone built in capability!

Met with Jerry Calderon about a stereo installation I was planning on getting. Jerry talked me through the options to get the high quality sound I was looking for. After not being able to find a double DIN dash conversion for my vehicle, Jerry personally custom wired harnesses by hand to install a brand new head unit. Jerry also fabricated a custom faceplate for me, converted my door speakers to a much higher quality sound output and wired in a rather large sub in my trunk. The entire time he sent me text updates and alerted me when he ran into issues, as well as photographs of his progress. Absolutely would and have recommended Jerry's business to my friends, you really get what you pay for with him!
