About Champions Inn
Champions Inn is a very reasonable hotel for an overnight pitstop, offering clean and comfortable rooms. The beds are comfy, the AC gets quite cold as desired, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is close to a nice gas station and Lake Amistad. The attached little restaurant provides a delicious, homey feel with good food. Guests enjoy sit-down breakfasts with perfectly cooked eggs and hash browns, or can get breakfast tacos and free coffee. For lunch or dinner, offerings like the jalapeno cheeseburger with homemade fries are absolutely delicious. It's a nice little spot right down the street from the lake.

Room was clean, bed was comfy,price was affordable, staff was very friendly and helpful. You can get breakfast tacos in the cafe , and they gave me free coffee!
