Excellent service, good products, it is a perfect place for older people, because the employees are very friendly and willing to help them, I witnessed them giving water to people waiting for transportation. ☆☆☆☆☆

The deli clerk was taking pre-packaged meat that was about to expire and re-packed it with a new date! Then she just put them back in the cold case. Makes you wonder how many items they do that with!

They have a monopoly here in Del Rio unless you want to try going food shopping at Walmart ?
They usually have pretty good deals if you care to adjust your meals around their specials. People need to learn how to count here....15 items or less ?. Also, make sure you pay attention to expiration dates. Twice I've found chicken past the date still on the shelves.

I ❤️ my HEB!

I loved it even more last week. We stopped in this store on the way to our Memorial Day destination this past Friday (5/24/2024 at approximately 2:40pm). The store was not as crowded as we thought it would be which was lovely. There were managers willing to help locate an item and the best part was our cashier, Jose M., he and the very personable and friendly bagger, (sadly, I did not get his name) were so wonderful and their positive attitudes were contagious....wtg, boys, all employees should leave a customer smiling when they leave!

There are few things as Texas as HEB. Great store because of their great people.
Update: was just in H‑E‑B to get a few things and as I’m walking out I noticed a young man struggling with his payment card. He was just buying a deli sandwich. When it didn’t work the cashier kindly said. “That’s ok, I’ll pay for it”. I didn’t see her name badge but just another example of H‑E‑B’s culture and great people.
