Stored my house goods here for 5 months while I was away for work. When I came back, all of my things were heavily covered in rat p**** There was also a rat nest in my chair and about half my stuff was water damaged from leaks in the roof. Additionally, the office is routinely empty and locked during their posted business hours and it is difficult to get someone to answer the phone. The front gate is broken so anyone can just drive in without a code. Unless you don't mind a rat problem, leaky roof, and lack of security, I would recommend not storing things here.

These people are as crooked as they come. My mother in law rented a storage unit from them back in 1995 and has been paying it all this time. It had been in there for so long that more than 75% of the items in there were ruined and no longer useful. We were notified approximately 6 months ago that it had changed owners and that they were increasing the price. We were surprised as we had already cleaned out 4 other units at 2 other storage places and thought we had emptied all of them. My mother in laws health was declining and she was one of those autopay people, so even she didn't remember. When we went to clean the unit out, there was a problem with the door opening so they were going to fix it and call when we could empty it out. 4 months went by and they never called, because she was payed well in advance. Easy money. Sometime before Thanksgiving the people from the office called again and said they needed the combination to our lock to have their "guy" who apparently doesn't even work there, come in after hours and fix the door. I wasn't happy about it but knew MOST of the stuff was trash, so I would take my chances after 4 months or more of knowingly storing trash and paying $50 to do so. Well here we were at Christmas and still no call so I finally just went down and told her "have your maintenance guy open the door so I can empty the unit. He did just that and I proceeded to empty the unit. While talking with her, she informed me that my mother in law was paid up until September of 2019 due to the bank sending automatic payments for several months at a time. The unit was emptied and cleaned by 12/31/2018 because I did not want her to pay another penny for storing trash. I went back to the office yesterday, with my husband to inform them that the unit was emptied on the 31st and to inquire as to how long it would take for them to send her the credit she had for the remaining nine months. The male behind the counter laughed and pointed to a sign behind him and said no refunds. I said no, that is for the remainder of a month, that he could not keep her money. He just laughed in my face again, so I walked out again while saying "ok,I'll just send my lawyer." After telling my husband, he decided to go in and make sure I wasn't misunderstanding him. He got the same bs story and the cops were called. In the end, we were told it was a civil matter and had already contacted an attorney after leaving. Less than an hour later, the male from the storage called my husband and said the owner instructed him to return her credit. In the end, it all worked out but it should have never happened and she shouldn't have had to pay for the months because they didn't do their job and fix the lock so we could empty it.
