Shelves empty most of the time. Poor customer service. Outdated can food. Freezer that holds frozen food is out alot. Needs new management.

I would like to start by saying that a lot needs to improve as far as the customer service for this location. I’m not sure whether the other manager is but it was never like this. There was always someone at the register people always greet. You literally today I was waiting upfront and, the clerk that they have with t The ponytail and I think it’s blonde on the end. Her customer service is a zero if I could write lower than that I would.. It’s literally every morning you go there upfront I spoke with the manager, but I don’t feel like she’s going to do anything about speaking to her. Hopefully the corporate can step up and get this issue fixed.

In the evenings I’ve gone in for a snack or something quick and the employees are GREAT I’ll start with that, but I went in today during the day and there were boxes everywhere and Christmas pillows on the floor I did have to go in front of my babies stroller and clean up to be able to pass through. I got home and 2/3 of the items I purchased tasted weird and when I checked the dates were months past expired. It’s not safe or fair to sell old food. Hopefully people are checking before giving their kids food from here.

I grab an item or two here occasionally, store maintenance is not great, trash can as u walk into the store is always overflowing. Shelves sometimes pretty bare. Could not find a cashier trying to check out. They had signs saying “no bags”. Maybe a new store manager would help the situation.

While my husband was getting the chicken nuggets and self checking out, there was a man trash talking my husband in Spanish in assumption that my husband could not understand. This kind of thing sometimes happens to my husband as he is fair skined. However, he is Spanish, so he speaks and understands. This man, however, crossed the line as he not only was insulting my husband but motioned to cut his head off. That is the only reason my husband chose to reveal he understood, and even then, he kept himself composed and told the man to have a good day in Spanish. The man then ran to the back of the store to a woman working there this morning. My husband says he is not sure if the man works there or not. If he does, then please have a meeting with your staff about keeping personal religions/ political ideas out of the workplace as not every man who dresses alternative is gay and regardless he can not speak about customers like that at work. I almost had my husband take our 1 year old with him. Would it have been alright to you for a child to witness that? If that was just some man who also harasses the workers, then I could only hope you would ban him. If it is a worker, I expect some sort of discipline and training on how to treat ALL customers.

I was shopping here for some things I needed to do laundry since I was out. So I walk in I get the stuff I need I pay for everything I got, when I get home the laundry detergent was very watery it's not thick like the other ones it looks like someone added water to it. After I use up that bottle of Gain Laundry detergent I got to h.e.b instead and I check out the detergent I bought at H.E.B and it's thicker and looks like a normal laundry detergent not a watery one.

All Dollar General's are pretty much the same: narrow aisles packed with primarily cheap Chinese junk, lots of stuff in carts needing to be stocked/shelved...this particular store is poorly managed IMHO...today - as usual - 3 employees with 2 in the office popping in and out, they can clearly see what's going on...one employee at one of the 2 available registers, one patron struggling to check themself out at the self serve register, 8 people in line waiting to check out...Hey manager! Customers are being held up, open both registers and get them out of your store - when things slow down, you can hide in your office again...SHEEESH!

HORRIBLE dollar general. I only go here if I absolutely have to grab something quick...and it's never "quick". The aisles are always blocked by unstocked items (inconvenient and a fire hazard), and there is NEVER anyone at the registers. I was just in here on 4th of July and no one came to the register at all. 3 people plus myself had to check out at self check even though we had multiple and bulky items. This dollar store is a mess, even as far as dollar stores go.
