I had an absolute wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place. Especially if you like solar (ask for Spring)! Will definitely be making this my go-to salon now.

I had came here several years ago for a pedicure and was very happy. But I came in today for a gel manicure and was very disappointed. I got a man who clearly was training but unsupervised during the whole thing. Ground all of my previous gel off without soaking them off. Put two coats of new gel that is very thin and I can see parts of my old polish showing through. I will need to file and shape when I get home. If someone doesn't know how to do nails, then they need supervised during the process. Will not be back.

I went in and got my nails redone and the very next day my nails were chipping and peeling, it’s been 4 days now and they’re starting to come up. Absolutely unacceptable. I have never had nails pop off so fast before.

Went there for the first and last time today. I went with a friend and my daughter in law and was there when they opened the doors. My daughter in law had a full set put on first while my friend and i had pedicures. They were so bad that the manager took the nails off and redid them. Then we had to wait for the manager to do ours. It took 4 hours to get us done and we were still charged for my daughter in laws nails. They charged 15 extra for my friend and I to get decals put on that I brought. We will.never go back.

I’ve come here off and on for a while because it’s mostly convenient.. NEVER AGAIN. Each time I’m here I’m charged more and more.. and every time I leave with mediocre nails! I was just charged $75 for a gel polish! Don’t waste your time or money here, not worth it!

This is a very nice and clean salon.
I have been there twice and my pedicure the second time was better than the first time. Paid for the same one both times.
My manicure and polish on both occasions was not anywhere near acceptable.

In the moment, I enjoyed my experience at 5-Star Nail & Spa. The staff is kind, great color selections, and there was almost no one there at around 10am during the week.
i got a gel mani and pedi. the pedi looks perfect but i noticed after the fact that they did NO cuticle work on my hands. they should have been pushed back and trimmed my cuticles. so now the gel is already coming up at the cuticle (2 days later) and look cheap and messy.

1-Star Nail and Spa. If i could rate them lower I would!
Most horrible service in the Texoma area. If you want your cuticles to be ripped off and end bleeding in 6 out of 10 fingers then then this is the place to go.
We will NOT be returning. I definitely DO NOT recommend taking your young daughters here. I understand kids move but these ladies have no business working on little hands.
The moment I said something they began speaking amongst themselves in what seemed to be mocking manner. Zero Stars in my opinion.
Editing to add that they were NOT BUSY AT ALL. There was only 2 more clients seated. None waiting, no wait. There's no excuse for the horrendous service.

The nail tech named Lynn was asked to provide a pedicure for my elderly grandma. About 15 mins into it Lyn picked up the callus remover tool, pointed at the dead skin on it & laughed with a coworker all while speaking in Vietnamese. It wasn’t one joke.. it became banter & they all 3 kept laughing & joking.. I don’t speak Vietnamese but it was clearly making fun of an elderly woman.
What Your facility didn’t know was that my elderly grandmother recently lost her husband of 68 years & was in need of an easy day to counteract the pain in losing a spouse. I made a bad choice by choosing 5 Star Nail in Denison, Tx. Lyn wasn’t the only employee who was content with mocking an elderly woman. Two other employees were perfectly content with providing poor customer service. The lack of leadership in the business as a whole was evident based on group behavior.
Just an observation, another nail tech had a load of boogers in her nose which was off putting.
Overall customer service was dampening.
Personally, I have had better customer service at the dog groomers.

Today I went to get my nails done and the new lady I've never seen before did my nails and I had to explain to her how to do solor nails on my real nails. First she was coughing so much I pulled away from the table , then she put on mask and was blowing her nose in the mask.. GROSS. So while I was explaining how I wanted my nails done and the white part and color of pink , I showed her that the thumbs were not right , my left was done correctly but right thumb the white part wrapped down my thumb and when I said something she was so mad she picked up her station and Christine had to come look and show her what needed to be done. This lady needs to be gone if you can't do nails right or stop coughing and sneezing around the PAYING CUSTOMERS then don't come to work. I like this place but I will never sit there and allow that to happen to me again .. oh yeah my nails are not even even each one is different I was so tired of it I even said that they weren't even I just got up and paid left.

I get my eyebrows done there every 3-4 weeks and I went to get them done 11/16 about 5:00. The lady rushed, didn’t ask if I wanted them shaped, cleaned, nothing. She took off WAY too much now my eyebrows are 2 different shapes, one is longer than the other and I have a huge gap in between my eyebrows. She made them look horrible and I don’t know if I can ever get them back from this. This lady I’m not sure what her name is or if she is new but I’ve never had her do my eyebrows and I promise I will never go here again. I’ve been coming here for years but I will for sure go back to threading after this experience.

Use to go here all of the time and had no problems. Up until this last month I went in there to get my gel polish removed and get a new color. It was a new staff and had nobody I knew in there previously. The women were rude and They did not understand what I wanted but after 20 minutes I guess they decided to do whatever. They didn't take my previous polish off and layered it on top. Every worked was standing over me while I was having it done and watching me for an unknown reason and it was very uncomfortable. The nails after were HORRIBLE! Layers were wrong, they were lumpy and the cut what not straight. Within 3 days the gel was coming off and breaking my nails. I will no longer support this establishment. I have taken my business elsewhere.
