Sparrows is an excellent art gallery! New art work coming in monthly plus established artists. They offer art classes in acrylics, water color, and paint pours. They have special events 3 to 4 times a year, where people can come browse the art work, listen to some live music, enjoy appetizers and mingle.

A wide range of styles, subjects, mediums, and prices, but all amazing works. Mark Keathley was my personal favorite. I could totally lose myself in any of his paintings. Enjoyed talking to the owners...I was made to feel welcome and comfortable... And they freely shared some of their personal stories. The gallery has comfortable seating so you can stay awhile and immerse yourself in the art. This shop alone was worth the trip to downtown Denison. Highly recommended whether you make a purchase or not.

Stumbling into this art gallery was like walking into a Chicago or New York gallery right in Denison Tx - without the overpriced tags on the art! Amazing art from local, national and International artists and the Curator was super nice too!

Sparrows Gallery is first class and has been compared to the top galleries in major cities and yet they are on Main St in downtown Denison, Texas. The curator, Tamie Odom, has a great eye for fine art and has discovered artists from all over the world. She also has Sparrow’s art pieces in constant circulation at other locations. Tamie keeps Sparrows Gallery highly visible and hopping with fun art openings, shows, parties among many other avenues of exposure.

Definitely the best gallery that I've been to in north Texas. Great atmosphere. Great variety of art that is very well displayed.
