Dr. Cousins and the Techs are absolutely amazing. Since September we were trying to find out what was wrong with my baby but unfortunately we were not able to treat it and had to but her down. Dr. Cousins and his team were very informative and caring throughout the 5 months of test after test. They took the time to send out a card with everyone saying nice and caring things and loved my baby as much as I did.

I wish I could say that these people care, but they simply do not.I had problems every time I would go in with my pet like forcing me to pay for Gabapentin, charging me for services I said no to, and refusing to communicate anything about my pet or my membership. Furthermore, these vets and techs ALMOST KILLED MY PET, leaving me to scramble to an emergency vet in a seriously deadly situation.Banfield pet hospital is just another one of those money-hungry and careless vets that care more about money than actually saving your pet. I will NEVER forgive these people for almost permanently taking my pet’s life (with no apology/ repercussions/ anything).GO FIND A VET SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

The staff and techs are so helpful and kind.My new rescue dog was very reactive, and the Banfield team helped us in and out of the store and took great care in handling my new doggie.

Terrible service, zero empathy. They left me on hold and left for the day while my 17 year old cat went without her food prescription. When all that was required was picking up the phone, confirming the prescription and leaving the card at the counter.They might be the one place with less interest in care and service than DVC post-Weinsche.

I should have known better. The 3.5 star should have given it away, But really wanted my kid to feel better. How bad can they mess up an ear infection. Just some drops n call it a day.Oh no, they wanted $60 for "which bacteria" is in his ear. Then $100 for medication... of which they don't know which one yet, because we didn't do the test. Lol. What a rip off company.If you have a choice and wait till a real vet is open.3 other times my dig had needed ear drops. $24.32. I get being greedy, but then there's you all.A company should be there for your community, not to price gouge you, and do services that are not necessary. Wanted maybe, but not needed.

I came to Banfield to get some heartworm medicine for my dog and they told me they can’t send me the heartworm medicine because my dog is not a patient there. My dog is a patient somewhere else but the vet there is in the hospital I can’t give me the medicine. I have some only the medicine so I get some for this month but they said no they can’t do that since my dog is not a patient with them. It’s really sucks just medicine that I’m trying to buy as prescribed from another doctor. I have all the paperwork and they will not sell it to me. I just want me to spend money to see the vet and everything else and I already have all the documentation so they can make money off the bank and then the pills.

I came to Banfield because my vet is in the hospital for a medical reason and nobody there is able to sell medication without the vet there so I came to Banfield Fanto says unless I see event and pay the money to see the vet here. I cannot get medicine even though I have a prescription from another doctor this really sucks that they want to charge this kind of money. It's ridiculous to charge for events in the heartworm pills cause it's not from their vet and stupid I don't recommend using this place.

CORRECTION: ZERO STARS!!!!DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!!I took my 9 year old pitty baby Apollo here because he seemed to have gotten sick with the same thing my new puppy Nova had. We brought her in before and she was treated fine, got better in a month. Well... Apollo was treated but never got better. We were told to give it some months and wait to see results. He showed signs of recovery at forst, but once the meds ran out it was a swift decline for him. They charged us way too much for no help. So we called other vets and they told us that Banfield not only gave him medications that DIDNT treat the problems he had, but also possibly misdiagnosed my poor fur baby. By that point he was beyond help and I had to let him go.DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY.

Nice that they're open on weekends, but the vet tried to over sell me on tests and x-rays for a minor issue.

My cat has been enrolled in the Banfield Pet Plan in Denton since 2013. I have considered unrolling previously but this time did not renew the plan and it will cancel today. Dr. Cousins would not provide me with a Health Statement because he “thinks” the exam report should suffice even though his staff presented him with the state requirement of which I requested. The nice receptionist went out of way to be kind friendly and accommodating. The blonde aid to Cousins must have thought she was on a TiKToK video. Disrespectful. This morning I was asked to wait for someone to talk to me even though it was a drop off and I informed the receptionist that I to go to work. I heard staff laughing and carrying on about an ugly baby for several minutes. I asked the receptionist how long did I have to hear them talk about an ugly baby. Again very nice And apologetic but when she came back she said they were “very busy” and I could just go ahead go. This is the reason why I think Dr Cousins’ did not provide decent customer service and did not bother to come and speak with me himself after all he is doctor…he can’t be that ignorant unless he’s not from Texas and doesn’t understand a requirement by the State! Unprofessional Unnecessary and Unkind. Please just go to Healthy Paws they are affordable, care about your pet and have great customer service.

It sounds like a good idea to have vet care ready and pay for and available. I have never taken my dog in without them up selling me and walking out paying an additional at least $100. Put the money in a little monthly account for your dog or cat or whomever you take there and pass on this. They're not there when you need them and it's going to be extra for almost everything. Medication if they prescribe it and get it somewhere else it will be cheaper blood work has an add-on. They took an x-ray the first time I took my dog in but needed me to pay another $100 to get it read. You can do better. Plus when you walk in they just have you drop the dog off and I'll call you when they're ready. I know when my dog is sick she wants me around and not to be put into some kind of carrier and left there for observation

I went to check in for my appointment made via website and the employee at front desk rudely told me they tried calling a handful of times and that they dont take appointments between 12-2. That it would have to be a drop off appointment and no telling when my pet (service animal) would be seen. I said we would cancel and try to do it at a different time and she rebuttled with how I should go to the flower mound location instead. Now, that can be interpreted many ways but considering her attitude, tone and demeanor it came across as very disrespectful and rude.

As a new car owner, I tend to freak out when my cat has a rash or gets sick. The staff is always great at walking me through it and answering all of my questions. When I drop off my pet I know she's in great hands.

Dr. Cousins is so kind and made my kitty and me feel very comfortable. Tony made an extra effort to get us an appointment that fit our schedule. She is so kind and compassionate! We greatly appreciate her and how much she loves and cares for the patients! I've been to multiple Banfield locations, and this is by far the best staff I've ever had the pleasure to work with! ❤️
