Greeted with decent customer service, but left dissatisfied. I was told that my car got jacked up and looked at, which I never saw from the waiting room window during the hour I was there. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, but I only saw them drive my car once (for all of about 2 min) in a circle around the parking lot, and was told they drove it “for like 30 minutes” trying to hear the noise I had described to them. I appreciated the bit of effort I did witness, but sadly I did not feel like they actually tried to help me. I left with no solutions or even a hint at what was wrong with my car. Instead, I was told “whatever it is, it’s nothing serious yet” and sent on my way.

Wonderful customer service! I came in for my yearly inspection and was out in less than 30 minutes. They even gave me a complimentary brake inspection because of some concerns from work at another company. I will definitely be returning for any future auto needs.

My truck had a serious vibration at 55+ speed. Took it to BBA because it is literally next door to my work. It took them 3 days to change oil and repack front wheel bearings. To the tune of $877 of which $700 was labor and they never fixed the vibration or even told me what the problem was. I rented a car and explained my budget. But as I was told by the service mgr "we're not making pizzas here."NEVER using them again.

My truck had a horrible vibration when driving at 55+. Took it to Barebones in Denton. Bad choice. Vibration still happening after repacking front wheel bearings to the tune of $877 of which $715 was labor alone. Never use them again. Took 3 days just to change oil and repack wheel bearings...because as I was told by the service mgr they are not "making pizzas" here.

I took my truck to barebones to replace a busted fuel line. They charged $227.53 to replace a 4 foot hose that cost appox $30. I was never given an estimate or what it would cost up front and after seeing the bill, I thought it was overpriced, but I paid it and went on my way. Turns out they put on the wrong hose and two days later it failed. I took it back assuming they would fix it right this time and warranty their work like other reputable businesses do. Again, no price was mentioned. I was under the assumption they were going to fix their mistake. When I came back to pick it up after the second time I was shocked that they presented me with a bill for $265.41 and did not warranty their work. I went back and forth with John for a few minutes about being charged a second time for their failure to put on the correct hose. John stated he didn't warranty the work and was in a hurry the first time he put on the hose because he was told I needed the vehicle back quick so he didn't research to see what kind of hose was needed. I'm not sure where he came up with that story but I never said I needed it back in a hurry. Whatever John, enjoy the extra $265 buddy. You obviously need it pretty bad if you run your business like that. Ironically, I'm pretty sure you lost a lot more in future revenues from my trucks alone than you gained. From my perspective, it only cost me a few hundred bucks to find out I don't want to use your business again or recommend you.

Honest shop! I went to them for a second opinion and was told my car was fine. Being I don't have so much knowledge about cars. They didn't take advantage of me. I'm definitely going to them for repairs. Thanks chance! Great service advisor

I picked my car up from Barebones Auto about 30 minutes ago and couldn’t wait to write a fantastic review! I was kept up to date throughout the entire repair process and loved how kind everyone was. My car honestly drives better than it did when I first bought it! Barebones is my new go-to and I recommend them to anyone looking for honest, quick service.Service: Engine repair

I appreciate the honesty and reliability of the work put in by the Barebones Team. They were reasonable with the pricing and worked with me to get my car on the road. As a broke college student with a lot of driving in the behind my belt and in the near future (700+ miles a week), I’m incredibly grateful to you and to my friend for recommending this place to service my oldie but goodie of a car. Thank you again.Services: Steering & suspension repair
