Tim and his team are awesome! I drove by a neighboring auto parts store to look for brake parts and noticed Brakes Plus next door. Tim offered a free evaluation of my vehicle, and the customer service exhibited by his team was so great, I chose to have all of the recommended work completed. Unfortunately, my master cylinder was damaged during the brake flush and required replacement. My ABS light has also been on since the day following the service. I'm sure that the incorrect procedure/tool was used to complete the bleeding of my system. I've been back, per instruction from my local Brakes Plus, but the issue was not resolved. Rather than go back and forth trying to explain this issue was caused by their service, I've chosen to cut my losses and avoid Brakes Plus altogether. That's my $0.02...

This place is a joke.
I don’t live in the area, but got a new set of tires while I was up here- and wanted to get aligned before I drove home. I chose Brakes Plus because of the Black Friday special they had online for an $85 Allignment
I had an apt at 115. They didn’t call me until almost 3 to tell me their “diagnosis”- in which they gave me an almost $1,200 quote of things that I “needed” done
I told them not to do anything to it. Picked my car up. Took it to get a second opinion and none of the things they said I “needed” were accurate
They were taking advantage of the fact that I’m a woman, and went by myself on behalf of an online “deal”
So yourself a favor and save your time, money, and frustration- go somewhere else

Made an appointment for a standard oil change and it took over 40 minutes. What’s the point of an appointment? Last time I was here they damaged my truck and they had to pay to fix it. Thought I’d give them another chance. Bad choice on my end. Never again.

SHAME ON YOU GUYS! I went in with a coupon for alignment to get my truck done, while they work on my truck, one of the employees wanted to show me something with my tire. At first I thought he was trying to take my tire off, but was showing me how loose it is. The employee printed out a quote for me, and it was a little over $900 for parts and labor, saying I need a new tire rod and control arm with ball joint. I told the employee I have a mechanic I like to go to. I left brakes plus not getting the alignment because he didn’t want to waste my money. I went to my mechanic and he told me someone messed with your control arm. My mechanic tightened it up for me, THATS ALL I NEEDED JUST FOR IT TO BE TIGHTENED UP!!!!
I don’t recommend brakes plus. They try to take advantage of you, and if I were you I would get a second opinion.

As a previous employee of brakes plus, I recommended a friend of mine go to their nearest brakes plus to have their vehicle serviced. It has always been their policy to have certain checks for free with a certain set of procedures, and she went in alone and they tried to get her to pay for it. After I spoke with them on the phone they couldn’t give me a straight answer on what they had seen or wanted to do, and where using a bunch of technical terms to try and confuse her. When I was giving them some pushback on what they were trying to do (considering I know that they should be doing) they completely shut down and practically kicked her out of the store. I would not recommended this location to anyone ever again.

Staff is Friendly, helpful, willing to take the time to patiently explain what's going on with the vehicle, not high pressure to upsell, and they did a good job at a competitive price.

Will never visit this location again. I understand they are there to make the company money but humanity should always come first. If someone can’t afford your overly expensive services and there other options available to them BE A DECENT HUMAN & give them those options & don’t be so business driven because though I found a temporary solution; when I am ready to get the permanent work done I will not have you all perform the work because you came off GREEDY.. loved this location when Aaron was apart of company. He always got a sale from me somehow but he made me feel as if my money was valuable so no matter if I spent 800 dollars I felt the job was done properly and it was money well spent. This last visit was just awful and I will find Aaron’s store before coming back to brake plus as a whole. Be genuine and helpful !!

Great place to go. They do more than brakes. I needed a headlight bulb put in and the GM put it in. Took less than 3 minutes. Didn't charge me. Such nice guys. Also they know what their doing. It's the right place to go for the smallest things. I found the Right Guy!!

I am a tow truck driver here in Denton that got in a bind with a very expensive important truck and everybody at brakes Plus went above and beyond to give me taken care of to get the job done right. Very nice. Very good people. I absolutely recommend them to anyone. You can't go wrong with these people

I came in Thursday cause I needed new brakes and I am so glad I did, they were so nice and helpful, did a excellent job, they even offered me a ride home and back so I wouldn’t have to wait at the shop, not to many places will do that! Thanks guys for a excellent job

The staff at Brakes Plus were very helpful and kind. I had been to four other places close to my home. One place was changing names and couldn’t inspect yet. Two had state inspection computers were down and one had a three hour wait. Brakes Plus was open, could inspect my car and the woman waiting on me had a wonder smile and such a welcoming disposition! Thank you!
