I worked out at MVMT lab from November 2024 through January of 2025, while I was in Denton temporarily for work. This is an outstanding gym with a dedicated staff that was engaging, motivating, and a knowledgeable resource for athletes at every level of experience. They have a comprehensive program that is scalable, and I saw significant improvement in many areas of my training. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to engage in fitness at any level. Thank you, MVMT!

Walked in and I was welcomed by coach brock and a small class before the blizzard of 25 Dallas. Clean friendly and everyone was friendly and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions. Helped to feel like you’ve been there and not a stranger. Thanks for letting me hangout there! 💪💪💪

Thank you MVMT Lab for treating me like a VIP. I'm a competitive powerlifter and was visiting the area and a needed a gym to train at for an upcoming event in August back home. I was shocked to see the training that was going on. Their is no AC blowing and their isn't any shiny glittering treadmills with t.v. to entertain you. Only hard work and sweat is going on in the gym. I have trained all across the country in many gyms and this is a top ten gym any where in any state. If you want results and want to see that other person you would like to become, then MVMT Lab is the only place to do it. Thank you to everyone.

I’ve been going here for about a year and a half now. Before I started here I had never done CrossFit or much in a gym at all. The coaches and also all the others who come to the gym have been such a help at creating my love for working out. Everyone’s nice and it’s perfect for people who are just starting their work out journey or if you’re looking for your next place to continue it.

I was referred to the gym by a friend. I had not stepped inside a gym in years and had zero CrossFit experience. My initial motivation was just to commit to work on getting active again since I have 3 young children to keep up with and set an example for. I was nervous to try something so far outside of my comfort zone. Now, almost a year later, I can’t imagine my life week-to-week without going to the MVMT Lab. I am hooked on the supportive environment that the coaches and community alike foster for all of the members there. The workouts have really challenged me physically, but also mentally, and I always show up knowing that the coaches will guide me to the best options for my skill level, help me get better as an athlete and that my friends there will encourage me and applaud my person achievements. I have not had a gym or fitness experience like the one I am getting at the MVMT Lab where I have made the time to go workout there a priority in my life. I’m so thankful I took my friend’s advice to start and feel enriched for having met everyone there and becoming a part of the community!

Honestly, I wasn’t looking for a CrossFit gym. My perception of CrossFit was “bros” doing unsafe exercises for bragging rights and that wasn’t what I was after. What I found at MVMT Lab was a community that focuses on elevating my fitness while meeting me where I’m at. The onboarding process is a great way to figure out if this gym is the right fit. Over the course of a few private sessions we went over movements and exercises that are common in workouts. It made me feel comfortable that all though I wasn’t great at it right then, I could improve and get better. A year later and I feel stronger and more comfortable with the workouts. The coaches watch my form and help me avoid common injuries. My favorite part about Mvmt lab is the community that is so central to this gym. Everyone is welcome here and I’ve always felt like I belonged. It makes a big difference when people are cheering for your success.

I love MVMT lab . I have been coming since Jan of 2023 and I have felt welcomed . After my second baby I wasn’t where I wanted to be and after talking to the coaches about my goals etc they worked with me to help achieve them . I started with PT and now I feel very confident in group classes . It is a community that accepts everyone and I enjoy it ! I love tracking my progress on the app and seeing how far I have come . Events my family is welcomed which was a big thing for me when looking for a place . I still work on things I’m not great at during PT and attend group classes 2x a week . They have worked with my schedule around kids etc so I can attend PT once a week . I would highly recommend !

Was in town for work for a couple days and dropped in - felt like home. The morning crew was super welcoming and the coaches extremely friendly -- thanks for making me feel at home Drew, Cesar, Chloe, & the rest of the 530am morning warriors!

Great place for fitness! They made it easy to make changes in my lifestyle and to make them permanent and I've never been in better shape (or enjoyed working out as much).

I'm quite disappointed at the way the self proclaimed Head Coach, Mason handled a prospective membership today, 12/20 at around 10:15 AM.
I communicated that I was a low income student who can't afford a long time commitment due to memberships being close to $170 a month (they do discounts the more time you sign up for), so I asked if I could pay for a month. He replied saying that it would be cheaper to sign up for longer ($200/month down to around $170). Being in school, it would be cheaper for me to pay for one month once ($200) than pay $170 over 6 ($170 * 6 =$1,020). Being on winter break, I have a lot more free time so the month of December would be most ideal for me. I don't think Mason understood what I was saying, maybe he just got done with a hard workout and was really tired. He kept persisting I buy a membership at $170 because it was "cheaper" - which really rubbed me the wrong way.
Mason communicated something vitally important about MVMT as a business - basically he said that they're in the long term fitness business. Essentially stating that there has to be an exception made to purchase anything below a 3 month commitment. I then proceeded to tell him that although I don't have the money, I would come 4 times a week at least. Essentially stating that if it's a commitment to fitness issue, I wouldn't be sandbagging workouts and only coming once every few weeks. I said this to see perhaps if there was flexibility on the price - no special privileges - just to see if there was a student membership (for committed individuals without the adequate funding) or something which Mason stated they don't have.
I respect the vision of the gym, however walking in I was unaware as they didn't do a month-to-month membership because they don't post prices on their website.
Overall I'm not dissatisfied with the vision of the gym - I totally get it, MVMT wants committed individuals. What I am dissatisfied with is how the situation was handled.
In all honesty I wouldn't have had a problem paying $135 a month over 3 months ($405 total) which is roughly $15 more - per month - than their competition.
After this experience I am no longer looking to supply MVMT with business (on principle). But in all honesty I guess I can't afford it either at this point in my life lol.
If the owner is reading this and would like some objective advice:
-I recommend publishing prices on your website
-Train coaches to be more friendly, personable, and skillful when discussing memberships with prospective customers even after coaching or an intense workout.
-Consider a student membership
I wish MVMT success in the future - however I won't be a part of it.
