Absutely the worst, UNPROFESSIONAL bank and employees I have ever encountered. I tried to open an account at their Gainesville TX branch and was treated like a vagrant. Only 2 people working the desks. I was asked to sit and wait until they could find someone to help me but had no idea of how long it would take. Excuse was they were very busy. Well guess what? SO AM I! I left without being helped. I tried to open the account online and theit micky mouse online account system kicked me out after giving ALL of my personal info. Was NOT able to finish even after giving SS number, DL number, address, full name and all the pertinence asked for. I received a letter from some BS company called ChexSystemsSaying I was denied the account because they could not verify my identity. WHAT??? So...I called them and some person who barely spoke English wanted me to give him my FULL SS number over an OPEN LINE so he could verify my identity. NOT happening. Seems as though none of these incompetent people can perform an identity verification with all the info they could possibly need. To make a long story short, I opened an account with First United with ZERO problems. Walked in and was greeted professionally and out in less than 30 minutes. YOU lost my business and I would NOT EVER recommend this bunch to anyone! I do business with companies on MY terms, NOT theirs.
