Always a good customer service experience at Frost. The staff at the Denton branch is always helpful. And, the bank’s phone reps have always been very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Liberty at this location was wonderful! I had a bit of a weird situation when I opened an account and she could not have been more respectful and accommodating. It was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had at any given bank and I’m really glad I chose Frost!!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with customer service at the Coppell branch of Frost Bank, where we interacted with an assistant named Grace. This experience was not only frustrating but also felt discriminatory. The staff’s (Grace) attitude and the way the situation was handled were unprofessional and discouraging. Without a doubt, this was the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this branch if you are looking for customer service that respects your time and values your business.
To provide some context: I visited the branch to open a new account for myself and also for my sister, who was visiting from Mexico. She frequently travels to the U.S., and it would have been helpful for her to have a bank account here, especially since she spends in dollars during her visits.
However, the employee immediately informed us that it wouldn’t be possible for my sister to open an account because she doesn’t live in the U.S. A friend had recommended this bank to me, so I still hoped I could benefit by opening an account myself. I explained that I am a U.S. resident, own a home here, and asked if we could proceed with opening my account.
The employee hesitated and told me the process would be complicated due to the many questions they ask. I asked if it would be complicated just for me to open an account as a U.S. resident, and she replied, “We ask a lot of questions.” I agreed to answer any questions they had and provided a Wells Fargo bank statement as proof of residency.
Grace then asked, “Are you sure you want to open an account? We ask a lot of questions, such as why you need another account, where your money is coming from, and what types of transactions you plan to make. If it’s a business account, the process is even more difficult.”
I asked whether she was asking me these questions now or simply explaining why they might not open an account for me. She reassured me that it wasn’t about refusing service, but emphasized that they are a “specialized bank” and compared their process to other banks where it might be easier. She repeatedly said, we ask a lot of questions when opening new accounts.
For the next 30 minutes, she spent more time explaining why I shouldn’t open an account with them than actually helping me with the process. It became clear that she was more focused on discouraging me from opening an account than on assisting me in completing the necessary steps.
This entire experience left me feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and extremely frustrated. I was simply trying to open a bank account, yet I was met with unnecessary delays, condescension, and a complete lack of support. I strongly advise against visiting this branch if you are looking for professional, courteous, and efficient customer service.

The staff at this Frost Branch are very kind and helpful. I had a problem with my account recently, and they could not have been any more attentive and caring. They took care of closing my account and setting up a new one thereby saving me much stress and aggravation. I have had an account with Frost Bank for over 25 years (in several different locations in the Dallas/Denton area), and I have nothing but praise for this institution!
