This is by far the BEST Hilton Garden inn I’ve ever stayed in. Amy at the front desk was amazing and very attentive to my every need, as well as having a bright smile that made bad days good. Michelle the bartender is the best drink mixologist I’ve ever came across. Any and every drink made by her was perfect. And the conversation/friendship I made with them is unmatched. This is my go-to hotel for all my business adventures in Denton as long as they are here.Rooms: Clean and relaxingNearby activities: Great shopping and restaurant as well as buc-eesSafety: Very safe never have to worry about anythingFood & drinks: Great food and drinks

The sales staff, Bianca and Jessica, were super sweet and efficient in helping with the room blocks for our daughter’s wedding. Michelle, the bartender, was super fun and catered to our every need at our welcome event. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, clean and comfortable stay with an amazing staff!

The only reason for 4+ stars is we asked for a bathtub in our room but were told it didn't have ANY tubs anymore!?!? We found out as we were checking out that they do have tub's. The employee that checked us in was new. If it went different it would be a total 5 star smash hit. Great place to stay absolutely loved it.Noteworthy details: Loved the Smoker's Oasis, but have since quit smoking but it was extremely nice to have a place to sit and talk with other guests outside on a covered patio.

Got a last minute room here after a bad experience at a different Denton hotel. Our experience at Hilton Garden Inn was great. The room was very clean and the hotel staff were welcoming. This will be my go-to hotel when visiting Denton.

Since I stepped into this establishment I knew my stay was going to be unpleasant. Parking lot is so small and had no where to park. There was contractors material placed on parking spaces which looked horrible. Rooms for the price of the stay I’ve had better rooms for a cheaper rate, different colors everywhere and the wooden furniture color did not help, it looks off and old . Only great thing was the shampoos and lotions. 2nd day I go downstairs to grab some breakfast and got stopped immediately by a lady which started explaining to us that we had to pay for our breakfast or they would bill us after our stay which we had booked with breakfast included but apparently we did not. No big deal, for overcharged liquid eggs I’m better off at having a great bagel at McDonald’s or some chops with eggs at a restaurant. However I did not appreciate the energy and attitude they gave us. I’ve never felt racist vibes in my life until now and let me tell you, I am proud of how I handled the situation. Walked away without saying a word. Overall I am regretting booking here. First and last. Overcharged rooms for what they are. Overcharged meals for what they are. Save your time & money

I was planning to hold off on posting this review but due to Hilton’s “goal is to respond to all inquiries within 7-10 days from receipt of your message,” I would like to share my experience now.My family and I were traveling from five hours away to attend my sister’s UNT graduation but sadly, we missed the beginning of it due to the various changes in rooms due to lack of standards. Yes, we checked in earlier than check-in time but please know, we were given rooms so it was assumed the rooms were ready for use. This was not the case. The door to the first room given was cracked open meaning housekeeping had not even cleaned it. Then, the second room given was apparently prepped but the pictures attached will show “ready” was far from it. There were countless hair strands on and in the bedding and on the pillows. We had hoped to shower due to traveling all day before attending the graduation but again, we found various hair strands and dirt in the shower. This was very unfortunate and our time in Denton began on a terrible note due to our experience at this hotel. We finally received an “up-to-standard room” but at what cost? How about missing a once-in-lifetime moment. Very unfortunate, and even at check out, we were NOT given any accommodation, room rate adjustment, or any sort of customer service. It is also a very sad situation as my wife and I are regular Marriott Bonvoy members but decided to give this hotel a chance due to its high Google rating. I would say please review the latest and newest reviews as it is possible the experiences have changed and are similar to ours.For hotel management, I hope to hear from someone and here is my Hilton Guest Assistance Case # 191348254.Rooms: Needs help.

When we first arrived we enjoyed a specialty Grinch Mimosa which was tasty and served with love from the fabulous bartender working that night. Her friendliness was above and beyond. We enjoyed the margherita flat bread in the lobby and the night-shift receptionist was kind and enthusiastic. Our family of over 15 all stayed here for the night and enjoyed our stay overall. However, the receptionist on Friday morning was not as kind. It was not a huge problem, I just looked forward to the same amount of friendliness from the night before. The rooms were clean and roomy. Would definitely stay again next time I am in Denton.Food & drinks: On-site bar and restaurant including room-service. Must pay for breakfast buffet.

Horrible experience, was at the near by hospital till 2am. Needed sleep, our room is in the middle of construction zone I guess all morning doors opening and slaming on rigged dead bolts bang as they demolished other rooms loud talking music as the workers work. Went down to talk to management Jay... who informed me there's signs saying we are under construction. Like oh well bud. But I booked over the phone so wouldn't know this and felt I should've been told they would be demolishing all the room around me while I tried to sleep.Nearby activities: Construction

I absolutely love it when hotel showers have doors instead of curtains, and my room here had one! All the staff I encountered (which was at the front desk and breakfast) were above-average courteous and friendly. Five stars from me!

As a Hilton Honors member for over 10 years, this was the worst Hilton hotel we have stayed at. Customer service: check in was a "little" better even if it looked like we were bothering them. Later when we tried to use the self-checkout kiosk for water (as apparently, we must) it wasn't working correctly, yet the 3 employees standing right NEXT to us, instead of offering assistance, chose to discuss their weekend plans. Checking out was no better. Same person as checking in. When I approached, I appeared to be a bother, she asked if I was checking out, I replied yes. Then I waited. Last and only thing she said after that was "ok, you are checked out." Regarding the rooms, I hope ours is one that is to be renovated as the bed was HARD as a rock, and the pillows were all flat. The a/c was very loud. The only positive part of that was it drowned out the slamming doors above us. (We were on the 3rd floor) Cleanliness had a few issues as there was "something" on the entry floor. I was tired and took care of it. We will not be staying at this Hilton again.

I stay at this hotel every time I visit for work. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, and the rooms are what you’d expect.Only downside (temporary) is that they are renovating so early morning you might get some noise if you are on the first floor.Rooms: Comfortable and cleanNoteworthy details: Going through some construction at the moment so if you are on the first floor you may get some noise early in the morning.
