i’ve been a customer of Home Depot and run my business for the last 20 years. I’ve never had problems returning anything especially when it’s still packaged in the original packaging. but today they wouldn’t return a simple item for $70 because of some new policy. Even once I talk to an assistant manager, they refused to help me and said I would have to go online . I called the customer service line and got the same runaround. I would be very wary of ever buying anything else from Home Depot. They are now restricting returns.

Dealt with a rude sales associate in cabinets 0/5 and an assistant manager who was cold for no reason 1/5 but Levar was more than kind and professional 5/5 will shop at this location again bc of him..

Good luck trying to buy a basic 250’ roll of 14-2 for $75.00. Locked up and only one guy has the key. Saturday evening and not an employee in sight besides paint and front end. Had one of them page someone. 6 minutes no show. Go up front and they call manager to that location. Wait another 8 minutes and no one. So I just crawled behind rack and grabbed a roll. Locking up punishes the criminal and the normal consumer. No button to hit even to call for assistance.

Employees were great and happy to help. They have almost everything you could ever need for any sort of hobby project. My sole reason for giving it a four star is that items are frequently out of place. For example, lynch pins with bolts.

I’ve had all kinds of experiences here. I’ve been well taken care of, and helped out, and I’ve been treated like the employee would rather I just go away and leave them alone so they can talk to their friends.“Umm … thanks for pointing me in the right direction. But it appears I need a key to get into the cage to grab the tool I want? Shall I call your manager or something?” “Oh, no, I’ve got a key!” Then he gets on the mic and calls a manager. ?♀️Bring them a tough enough question, and you’re either going to get glassy eyed vacancy or a serious convocation of Those That Know Things to come up with the right answer. It’s a crapshoot.

Did not have the tool that i needed all parts were not working workers was happy to tell me they didn't have what i need and as a vet. No discount even with my id.

Why would you lock every power tool up and have 0 staff around and available to unlock them? I stood in this Home Depot for 40 minutes after asking 3 people to help but it wasn’t in their two aisle purview to unlock a power tool on an end cap. Idiotic.
