Nimh was an absolute delight! Let me know all of the deals going on and where more clearance was. This store is always clean when I come in and the customer service is super friendly. ALWAYS willing to help out, even if something is online. 10/10 would recommend coming to this one. Love all the merch here

KIMMY is Amazing! It is very rare that I don’t see her when my son and I go shopping. She is always helpful whether it’s telling us about the sales, explaining the coupons or helping us look up items online because they don’t have it, she is on it! Thank you to the other employees working they have helped me as well. Go to this hot topic for sure!

Went to hot topic and “Nimh” gave me a really uncomfortable experience. Really rude and and condescending attitude coming from an employee supposed to be there to help and serve. I was indecisive about a pair of earrings after my purchase and asked to see them one more time. He or “they” rudely said sure and held them in front of me at a distance with his hands, I tried to look closer cus I didn’t have my glasses so I squinted my eyes and then reached for them to pull them closer because I didn’t think it would be a problem??? He didn’t let go when I reached for them and I laughed it off cus I thought he just wasn’t reading the social cue that I wanted to see them closer. I laughed it off and then said “can I not hold them and look at them? “ and he just gives me a condescending shrug and still refuses to let go. It was a huge multi pack of earrings I was just trying to get a closer look at and decide on buying. He was purposefully being difficult I found it very strange and have no other choice but to believe he was profiling me and assuming I would steal the earrings? I was just extremely offended and confused on why he wanted to randomly be difficult with me but help all the other customers no problem. I just really don’t understand because I personally sell product and help people buy and look for things and I would never treat a customer like that by just holding the product in front of their face when they clearly want to take a closer look. He was very immature this store needs a better employee.

This it the third time that I have ordered items from Hot Topic, only to receive defective and seemingly bootleg/counterfeit merchandise. When I need to return the defective merch, Hot Topic gives me two choices, either pay to send it back and lose my original shipping fee that I paid, or drive to a location (an hour and half round trip for me) and still lose the original shipping fee. In addition, any time I use a reward certificate (I've been a platinum and gold member), I typically lose that certificate and don't get it reimbursed to my member account to use on a non-defective, non-returned merchandise.

Kimmy is freaking amazing!! Best customer service ever, she’s always so kind and knowledgeable. Even helps order stuff online if they don’t have it in store. You can tell she really cares about her customers and that is a rarity these days. Everyone here is so nice and they always let me know what sales are going on and help me get the best deal! I’m a customer for life!

Kimmy(spelling?) was fan-freaking-tastic. Honestly the best and easiest experience I've ever had shopping at any hot topic. She could tell why I was there and asked exactly the right questions to direct me to the merchandise I needed. I've worked retail and food service so this compliment doesn't come empty. 10/10

The girl there told me that I looked like a celebrity that isn't James Corden or Zach Galifinakis. She told me I look like Billy from Stranger Things. I was freaking out trying to find last minute FNAF gifts for my daughter's 19th birthday and everyone was sold out. The 2 ladies working here are amazing and scrambled to help me get exactly what I needed. They are amazing! Ren and I didn't catch the other ladies name but tysm for helping me make my daughter's day so special. ?

So everything so far is good. I will say I got scammed bc they stole 50 dollars from me when ever I did an order online. What happened was that I went in store trying to bye a swear for my brother. I asked about and they told me that they didn’t have the size ins tore but they could order it and I can pick it up in store. Actually being honest they gave me the option to bring delivery at my place or to pick it up in store and ofc I choose to pick up in store because im to broke to even pay for delivery so I choose to pick up in store because I thought it be easier so a week later I came back and checked on it. I went I a little too far thinking a week would be perfect to check back on this order. I just don’t know how things works. ANYWAYS as I was saying I checked and out of nowhere I my order was never put in place in first place. After knowing that I was like ooh that’s fine. You because I remember that if something went wrong they give me my 50 dollars back in a gift card. Before anything she explained to me that if anything wrong were to happened during my order I would get my money back in that gift card. So when I went back to check on my order I asked about it and they said that there was nothing in there so I was like pissed about it but I didn’t say anything because I was like ok it’s not her fault. BUT STILL LIKE THEN WHAT !???? in the end I didn’t do nothing about and I had to buy the sweater again for 50$ again!!!. This happened about 2 month ago and I haven’t been back ever sence then. I even have the card that they wrote on it 50$ and the receipt of when I went there. It’s crazy how I end up wasting 100$ thinking I can’t never get scammed in store like that. So I don’t trust this store no more. In recommendations it’s good stuff and everything look cute and cool but they be stealing money.
