I dealt with a lazy, dud of a salesperson. Her name was Rossie Sewell. It took her 5 hours to get to me and then lowballed me on my trade. Gave me an appraisal $4000 lower than any one else, $6000 less than even Carvana. When I told her that she did not even have the common courtesy to respond at all. I guess I know why they have had their truck for almost 8 months. My advise...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND GAS DRIVING OUT THERE, they will just try to rip you off. Plenty of other honest dealerships in the metroplex.I did hear from a manager named Chase Whaley. He acted like he was very concerned, about me being upset. What he was concerned about was the reviews I put up. Still low balled me, but at least he was nice about it. I stand by my review.....DON'T WASTE THE TIME OR GAS, you will just be disappointed.

Buyer beware! I'm from Houston and found a truck I wanted to purchase at JW. I reached out to JW and was told to put a $500 deposit down to hold the truck. I was told that the truck was in excellent condition and I had the salesman send me pics. Going by pics the truck looked good and true to their word. I put the $500 down and after a few days drove the 300 miles up to JW in Denton with a bank draft in hand. Upon my arrival I began inspecting the vehicle and noticed that 3 of the 4 tires were original and 8 years old. 2 tires were almost bald and one was chewed up. I drove the truck and it drove horribly with excessive vibration presumable from needing 4 new tires. I now knew that this truck had not even been inspected by JW and simply listed for sale. The truck had the oil change sticker from the Ford dealership the previous owner took it to, the tires were a disaster, the truck drove horribly, the center console was cracked, and the battery terminals and bracket were corroded and rusted. How can you even sell a vehicle lawfully that is unsafe? Why didn't JW inspect the vehicle and replace the tires, vibration issues, patch up the cracked center console, remove the rust and corrosion from the battery, make sure it was safe, etc, before selling? I informed the salesman that I was never informed of these issues and would have to spend 1,500 plus for new tires as they were not safe to drive to Houston. I was very disappointed and upset that my salesman failed to tell me about these issues. I told the salesman that the dealership needed to replace all 4 tires so I could get home safely, or take additional money off the price of the truck and I would go straight to Discount Tire myself. The arrogant used car sales manager was very bothered by this and said he'd take off 500.00 but that was it. Like really? What a slap in the face. The managers response was "sorry no one told you about the issues." I asked the manager if he was really going to lose a sale over his failures, being the bad tires and not telling me of the problems beforehand, and he replied "Yep." Really?! After leaving JW to come back to Houston, the salesman called and said the manager offered to replace the chewed up tire but that was it. Another slap in the face. Buyer beware!

I took my 2019 Chev Silverado 1500 pickup truck to your service center to inspect the transmission. My 2019 truck only has about 90,000 miles on it. The service center later told me that the transmission had failed. A four-year-old truck and the transmission failed. I also found out that there are class action lawsuits against GM due to this same transmission failing in GM vehicles all over the country. GM evidently refuses to take responsibility for these defective transmissions. I brought this up to Jared, my service rep, and he said there were no recalls on this transmission and so I would have to pay the $7,300.00 bill to replace it. That is SEVEN THOUSAND AND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Quite frankly this is unacceptable. Nothing against Jared, not his fault, my complaint is with the James Wood dealership for selling this defective product to the people of Denton County and to GM. I cannot believe that James Wood and GM are knowingly selling a clearly defective product to consumers. I trusted James Wood since I have purchased a truck from them in the past and had good experiences. Now I feel I have been the victim of fraud. Shame on James Wood for not taking care of their loyal customers. I will never buy another vehicle from James Wood nor will I ever buy a GM product again. I will tell all my friends and family the same. Do not buy GM products and do not buy from James Wood.

Ronnie was able to locate a Chevrolet pickup exactly like I wanted. Actually there was only one available in the color I wanted and the type. He did a great job of getting it ready and making me a happy customer. I

I highly recommend working with William Youngblood at James Wood AutoPark. He made the car-buying experience easy and painless. I was able to build the exact car that I wanted, and it even came in earlier than expected. William and his team did not try to upsell me whatsoever and were polite, professional, and helpful at all times. Plus, William took the time to go over all of the features and help me set up my wireless Carplay, seat positions, safety settings, etc. I have driven Acura's for 10+ years, but I love my Tahoe! I am 100% a Chevy girl now!

Had a wonderful experience buying a 2023 Tahoe with Michael Rubiccubuono. He made the process as smooth as can be and helped us buy the exact model and color we were looking for. Everyone at this dealership is very nice and willing to help.

I come there for pretty much all my oil changes. I seldom have a great experience. You lost my center cap during an oil change, it took for ever to get it replaced. Several times you have failed to top off the fluids, including this time. I am out of washer fluid already. Come to think about it the last oil change my horn didn’t work when i got it back. I don’t think I will be using your dealership again. Chevy Silverado 3500 High Country.

The service dept is very helpful. Tim always ensures all of my trucks service needs are met timely and efficiently. The cashier/rental desk employees are professional and provided me good customer service with a smile which was refreshing because now everywhere you go people seem to hate their job.

We were interested in buying a truck listed on their website that is currently in transit. We went in told them we wanted the truck and might pay cash for it. They immediately came back with a $2,500 bumped up price of MSRP that was not for taxes or TT&L stating they had to charge us for not living here in Denton county. They said they cater to Denton County residents because they service their vehicles with them and are loyal to only them. They didn't ask but we service and buy all of our vehicles within Denton county. Did not want our business weather it was cash or finance because they never really asked. BUYER BEWARE FOR CHARGES THAT HAVE NO REAL JUSTIFICATION!

I purchased my 2019 new off the lot. Purchased the extended warranty with MasterTech and it has all been a true blessing. The staff and techs have always been honest and proactive which I love. I hope I can talk my wife into a Chevy for her next vehicle so we can fell good about the purchase, service and repairs.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience here at James Woods. Wendi Little went out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and even gave me more for my trade-in than I expected. I could tell that she was just as happy for me as I was for myself. Many people are buying cars online now, and that’s great, but it does rob you of the feeling of driving away from a dealership in your new car. Nothing beats that!!! Thank you, Wendi!!!!
