I bought a 2019 bmw x6 M. Iâm located in greenville SC while kian is in Plano Texas so the entire transaction was remote, I didnât get to see the car prior to it being delivered to me. According to the carfax the title was clean, however it listed âstructural damageâ. I asked my salesman John at kian and he said that they have to list minor exterior chips scratches etc. as that, then he recommended I contact an inspector do piece of mind, recommending âthe lemon squadâ .
I ordered the full inspection through the lemon squad and they got someone out there for me. besides minor things like the oil needing to be changed the lemon squad passed all parts of the inspection on the vehicle.
when the vehicle was delivered I immediately noticed the internal right turn signal wasnât working, this was never disclosed. Then the chassis malfunction light came on day later and I knew I messed up dealing with Kian motors.
I took the car to my local BMW dealer and they estimated ~$9000 in a myriad of issues with the vehicle, leaks , parts needs to be replaced etc. to this point I have owned the vehicle 11 days. Oh the right turn signal hasnt functioned once yet.
How could this dealer not know all these things were wrong with the vehicle? How could the inspector they recommended to me not even note that the right turn signal did not work at all? This is clearly foul play and bad business practice, I was sold a lemon.
Of course I callled and my salesman John immediately got defensive and said he made me no guarantees and to take it up with Nick who I guess is the owner.
now I await to see if my extended warranty will cover these issues and I havenât even owned the car two weeks. Even if it does cover, if I did not pay thousands for the warranty I would be literally screwed.
I highly recommend you do not trust this dealership. Donât trust the salesmen, the recommended inspectors , ownership. I am currently seeking a resolution.

Great dealership with friendly and knowledgeable staff! Nick was great with everything he did making the process painless, simple, and quick. Lots of beautiful teslas and other cars on the lot, worth it to stop by and see current inventory.

David was incredibly nice and professional. He was very informative and honest throughout the entire process. I felt stuck in my decision-making during the dealership phase due to certain factors, but with Davidâs expertise, I felt reassured and was able to confidently make a decision. Typically, dealerships just want your business and will tell you anything, but Davidâs communication skills truly stood out. He took the time to explain everything clearly. I genuinely appreciate his help throughout the process.

I just bought my second vehicle from Kian Motors. I wouldnât have gone back if I didnât have a great experience the first time. That was a great buy almost two years ago, and I just got another one. Chasity, Nick, and all the folks at Kian are very helpful, courteous, and true to their word. We will likely be getting another vehicle soon. Guess where Iâll be going?

This place is truly one of the easiest places to buy a car, the staff is very nice and easy to deal with. If you are purchasing out of state just know a lot of their cars are lemons which they are upfront about once they have you in front of them. Where this dealership lacks is after the sale. Nick promised in good faith to have a mobile charger sent to us after our purchase of a used model 3 long range. It took over a month of getting the runaround and nearly daily messages for me to get a charger, and that was only after I threatened to leave a poor review. I was even sent a bogus shipping label which has been mentioned in other reviews. Overall I am happy with my purchase, the car has been great, and I did end up getting my charger. Just be sure you ask about title status and get anything promised before you leave with the car.

4. 3hr test drive to sell a 50k vehicle thatâs been sitting for 7+ months sounds like a âwin is a winâ situation.
5. Address how we were treated poorly.
6. Iâm glad the police sided with the black people.
7. Do you want to sell us the car or not? (Rhetorical)

Went to test drive a 2022 GMC Yukon on 11/21/25. Handed over our license and was given keys to take the truck out. When we returned the entire staff and owner whom we had not met until we returned were outside with the police. We parked the vehicle and before I could safely get the vehicle in park the owner had rushed past the police officer and snatched the driver door open yelling and swearing in my face. He continued to charge at us even with the police directing him to step away. in the mist of it all the confusion, charging, and yelling Iâm explaining to the officer and staff that we wanted to purchase the vehicle which had been sitting on his lot for 7 months. Nothing would stop this man from continuing to spew his insults, stating we were uneducated, stupid profanities and making statements about not being able to afford a new car because the headlights didnât work on the vehicle we owned and drove to his lot hence why weâre in the market for a new vehicle. We kept telling the man we wanted to purchase his vehicle and nothing would suffice him or his staff. We ended up leaving without solving or really getting a chance to explain what happened during the test drive. The police did not feel the need to detain us nor ask for IDs, names, etc which made me believe that the owner had no grounds for pressing charges, or being as angry as he was. From what I gathered the owner was upset that we actually test drove his truck. Staff explained that they expected us to test drive and return the vehicle after 5 minutes (which is laughable) when considering a 50k+ purchase. Said staff member also stated that we could have had the car longer if they had known we wanted to actually do more than drive it but since we put our 4 kids in it, fitted car seats, strollers, my grandma and her wheel chair in the vehicle it had taken too long and made him angry. We drove the vehicle approx 25 miles in the couple hrs we had it for test drive and put gas in it because we were confident in buying the vehicle. Staff did not tell us we couldnât do such things nor that we had 5 minutes to test drive until we returned with the vehicle. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED BEFORE WE LEFT THE LOT AND DEFINITELY BEFORE THE POLICE WERE CALLED. I have never had this reaction about doing the things I did to make sure the vehicle worked for our family. In this car market youâd think they would be a little more eager to sell a 50k+ vehicle thatâs been UNSOLD for 7 months. And maybe this does or doesnât matter but we are a black family. Do not purchase from this lot as this review and others state that things are not as cut and dry as it may seem.
