I’ve purchased eight used tires from LA Tires over the past two years, but my recent experience was unacceptable. Two weeks after installing one of the last tires I bought, my low-pressure light came on. With years of experience working at Goodyear, I inspected the tire and found it had a leaking plug.
Selling a plugged tire without disclosure is completely unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. When I called to request an exchange for a tire without a plug, they refused and only offered to repair it. I didn’t want a repair—I wanted what I paid for: a safe, used tire without prior damage.
This response showed a complete lack of customer service and accountability. I will not buy from LA Tires again, nor will I recommend them.
Warning to other customers: inspect your tires carefully before leaving, because they may sell you tires with undisclosed repairs. Safety standards matter—don’t take chances. Very disappointed.

They were extremely kind. Saw that I was a young female college student and offered a very fair price and did not overcharge. Would 100% recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
After searching all over town for a pair of quality tires at a decent price, I finally found this amazing tire shop—and I'm so glad I did. Not only did they give me a great deal, but the whole team was incredibly friendly and understanding about my financial situation.
They didn’t try to upsell me or push anything I didn’t need. Instead, they took the time to listen, worked within my budget, and still made sure I left with safe, reliable tires. It’s rare to find that kind of honesty and customer care these days.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for fair pricing and genuinely good people. I’ll definitely be coming back when I need anything tire-related in the future!

Only employee was sketchy, hours are inconsistent, met the manager once or twice and he lazily did enough. Some chubby guy was the only one handling the shop. I expected more from a downtown establishment as a new resident. Tires are cheap but so is the business. Wouldn’t go back unless I need a $30 tire.

I came in today with a huge screw in my tire and needed all 4 tires replaced anyway. They got me in immediately and were super fast and even cleaned all my Steelies for me, no cost! Customer service was great. Highly recommend going here

Shop was completely dead, but yet they still take their time and tell you they’ll be there in a minute and then just stand around and do nothing

Very helpful and great prices, had an issue with a tire that had blown a few hours after having it replaced by them, and they took care of it for free, good value and great business ethics, LA tires will be my choice every time

Unbelievable price of $60 to get a single blown tire replaced with a used one…. Took 10 minutes and I was out of there. Definitely will go back, there’s no way anywhere else in Denton does it that fast and cheap….

Considering a career at L.A. Tires? Think again! As a seasoned Automotive Technician with six years of experience, I typically earn between $15 and $17 an hour. But this tire shop? I offered to take a pay cut to $10 to $12 an hour because it's a simpler job. However, they countered with an astonishingly low offer of $8 an hour, not from the owner, but the manager. How can one expect to thrive on such a meager wage? Doesn't Texas' minimum wage of $12.50 inspire them to do better? I chose to leave after just three days. Perhaps they'll realize the value of experienced workers when they're gone. L.A. Tires' actions are inexcusable, particularly their attempt to utilize my mother's outstanding balance as leverage to withhold payment from me. She had purchased two wheels for a tire replacement at their shop, but has yet to pay. They stated that they could not compensate me until she had settled her account. This tactic is tantamount to blackmail. It's remarkable that they would engage in such unfair and unprofessional practices. Using my mother's unpaid bill as a means to avoid paying me is entirely unjust. I made the correct decision by leaving that establishment. No individual deserves to be treated in such a manner. Everyone has the right to be treated with respect and receive fair compensation for their work.
