My family had to help our 20yr old cat cross the rainbow bridge. We were heart broken, but the staff and vet were so kind and considerate while we said our good byes to our goodest boy Ribey. Thank you.

My big babies go and receive the best treatment. Tinkerbell is our sweet senior girl. She loves the staff and vets here. I also have a grumpy Doberman mix that despite his terrible attitude they are so caring. All in all this has been the best experience and I appreciate their care and hard work with animals that can’t voice what’s wrong

Both vets at this clinic are fantastic but I have had an especially great experience with Dr. Mawyer. She has always greeted me & my dogs with a smile & happily answers any questions I have.
I have years of experience working at vet clinics and know how exhausting it can be, so I really appreciate how engaging and attentive everyone at this clinic seems to be.

I can’t thank this clinic enough for the kindness they’ve shown after having to put my cat down. Everyone was so sweet and really cared for how I was doing and my sweet Margot’s comfortability. This is never an easy process but I am so glad it happened at this clinic. Just came home to a hand written card from the staff expressing their condolences. If you’re looking for a vet that truly cares about your pet’s well being, this is the place.

I had the exact same experience as another reviewer 10months ago. I will quote it below. I also had several questions but Cheri is an appointment gate keeper. Keeps mentioning the deposit and records that I know you need, but she barely gives you the chance to provide input. It's straight to "You're going to need to pay for this test to get those meds." Good service would have been "You can have your old vet fax over the records or you will have to pay for a new test." Not just ramming services and fees down my throat and demanding documents. I wanted to know availability before officially scheduling and sending documents. I understand that they will not input it in the system before receiving the required stuff but I can't even know the dates though? She makes things really off putting and makes you want to go somewhere else. I now want to see and provide and update on the actual Vet's service. I didnt even want to ask her the general questions I had anymore. ---I will update later.
Review I had a similar experience:
"I am new to the Denton area. I called in to get some information for my cat and to possibly schedule an appointment. The older sounding receptionist that answered the phone was snippy with me and just kept mentioning a $56 scheduling fee, which is fine, but I had questions prior to scheduling. I attempted to asked about the office visit, what that is like, and other costs but she cut me off to say “I already told you it’s a $56 dollar scheduling fee”. Ma’am, I understand you’re SOLELY concerned about my pocketbook, but I have questions to decide if this would be the right vet for my animal(s). It’s so sad that it seems like the real importance to this clinic is not my pet, but money. When I have questions in relativity to the matter at hand, I would like to at least be able to ask the question rather than someone talking over me with attitude. We will continue our search for a reputable vet with caring staff"

I am an immensely huge fan of this clinic. Dr. Seymour and Dr. Mawyer are both absolutely excellent veterinarians. I have been bringing my cats here for years and I always appreciate their candor in telling you exactly what is happening and what needs to be done to take care of your animals. The ladies who work the front desks are also super kind and helpful. Love this place! This is definitely the place to come for efficient and knowledgeable animal care. I appreciate y'all so much for everything you've done for me and my cat friends. :)

I can't say enough great things about this clinic and Dr. Seymour. We had been going to another et in the area with our previous pups. When our last pup started having some puzzling symptoms, they were unable to help us. I am so thankful we found Dr. Seymour. She was able to isolate what was happening and find us treatment options. Thanks to her and the Team at Seymour Animal clinic we have been able to experience 3 more years with our girl. She's still going strong. Most dogs aren't happy to go to the vet. Our little old lady and our new pup get excited to go see the Team at Seymour Animal Clinic. Thank you for all being so great!
