I appreciate my local Sally Beauty location for always providing me with great products and hair dying advice. However, Sally Beauty’s rewards system is glitchy and deceptive. And of course customer service is no help. If you try to use the website prompt, the website goes blank when you hit submit and loads indefinitely. If you try to call customer service it is a clearly overseas contracted line that can’t even get the details of your purchase history straight and chalks everything up to a glitch. As someone who’s been very loyal to Sally Beauty, I’m definitely disappointed. It won’t be my preferred place to get hair dye anymore.

I love my local Sally’s so much but I went in there today to get dye and it was SO HOT. Turns out corporate is capping their AC’s at 74. In this southern heat where the air can’t keep up, it’s unbearable in there. I didn’t even wanna browse the other items so I left with half of what I usually go in there for. Those poor employees.

Sally’s Beauty located in Westland, MI on Warren Road is trash! Both associates followed my daughter, my grandson, and I around as if we were thieves! We were excited to shop there because I just opened a new line of credit up online. We are Black so of course they followed us around, another black lady came into the store to shop the second associate followed her around. So, it’s like they assigned us an associate to follow each black customer around the store. We could not shop in peace. Everywhere we turned she was there eyeing us up and down. It’s very uncomfortable after we left the store I called the store to inform them what I had noticed to mitigate the risk of a confrontation because I am not confrontational‼️

This is the review I'm going to post on every social media until this is resolved every step of the way. I will write a post each day on how Sally is handling this.
This situation is incredibly frustrating and unfair. It seems like the credit card company is taking advantage of you by continuing to charge fees even after you have closed the account and paid it off in full. The fact that they are also hanging up on you and providing poor customer service only adds insult to injury.
I may want to consider filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or seeking legal advice if necessary.
Meanwhile, I'm going to continue to try to reach out to customer service and escalate my concerns if needed. It's unacceptable for them to treat people this way, and I deserve a resolution to this issue.

Fraud, deceptive practices for online delivery fees. There is NO ESCALATION DEPARTMENT. DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS. JUST CONSIDER YOURSELF SCREWED.

I don't understand why the Sally's in Kansas City refuse to keep product on the shelf. Who ever is in charge of the stores is a complete moron. Why have stores and not keep product in them.

I've been a member with Sally's for quite some time unfortunately I am taking care of my mother as well as her bills and mine and she has health issue that I've been helping her with all her bills as well as mine unfortunately she misplaced my mail and I did not receive a statement finally I seen it 5 days later I call customer service to please excuse this because my mom has an illness and it's not her fault that she misplaced my mail my bill was only 48 dollars my minimum payment was $30.00 they charged me a $40 late fee for being 5 days late I paid the late fee and the 48 dollars which the current balance with late fees and interest $87.87 !!!! I cut up their card I am no longer a customer of Sally's products I don't want nothing to do with them I will go to Ulta or Macy's I have never felt so aggravated and hurt because of my credit being so good for a 5-day late payment to charge me almost what my balance was I paid 82.87 and the balance before these late fee was only $48 shame on you.. I hope you never have to come to this with your parents or love onesI am blessed to have mine but you can keep the $40 I'd rather have my mother than your money no compassion no empathy and definitely no customer service you lost my business shopping elsewhere Christine Couto

Someone at corporate needs to do something about the Sevierville, TN location on Collier dr.No localsone want to shop in there because the clerks will hound you to death or give you the the stare , follow you like you are a shoplifter or just plain creep you out.You have about 5 min to shop before they grow suspicious of you.Even if you tell that you will ask for help when you need it, sorta hinting that you do not need to keep asking) that sorta irritates them and it just gets worse from there.Apparently they do not want you to open and smell the products either.It is always empty, and you always feel uncomfortable shopping there.The chic with pink/ purple hair is really rude and the Dark haired mgr will drive you nuts too .I am tired of feeling watched and uncomfortable because I like to take my time, soI have started shopping online where I feel less pressured, or I go to ulta where they are nice and not stare at you and hound you.

In store or online...most items are out of stock. Many times I've shopped online for "in-store pickup". It let's me order and pay but when I get to the store I'm told the items aren't in stock and they cancel my order. I've also ordered items to ship to my house. Online it says its in stock and it let's me pay. But, a few days later I get an email saying my order was canceled because the items weren't in stock. I did a review not too long ago and Sally's sent me an apology email and a $5 off coupon that was only good for 3 days. Speaking of $5 off....I get multiple emails saying I've earned $5 off my next purchase but when I go to the store and try to use it at the checkout, I'm told that I don't have $5 off on my account to use. Even after showing the cashier the email they won't honor it. They act just as confused as I am as to why I'm getting emails saying I have $5 off but it's never on my account. The last order I made got canceled due to items not being in stock, I said then that I was done with Sally's. I reluctantly ordered again and the same thing happened. I'm definitely done with Sally's now. In all honesty, I don't understand how they keep stores open. Also, they keep sale signs up indefinitely on items in the stores so when you go to check out the items ring up at regular price. If you point out the sale sign, they just say "well, it's not on sale anymore, we just haven't taken the signs down". I had one cashier walk over to the sign, rip it down, and slam it on the counter and say "there it's down now". I just can't imagine ever shopping at Sally's in the future.

I purchased some andis slimline pro trimmer from sally in lake city Fl. On 07/28/2023 which I spent $89.99 with tax for my husband birthday who is a barbershop owner/barber. Well on 8/01/2023 he decided to open them and to see that they are rusted and he placed them back in the box unused. On 08/01/2023 I went to the sally stores where I bought them from and Christina the store manager stated the there is a No refund policy on clippers and didn’t offer a exchange or anything only to reach out to the company who make them, well the receipt is contradicting because it state they are not refunded and it also say it’s refundable as long as it’s not used. While the manager refunds to give a refund to a product that they are saying that is rusted and I’m disappointed, anger, and most of all a unsatisfied customer and will most definitely share my experiences with a lot of people who may want to purchase there in the future.

I won't be going to spend my dollars at Sally's. The sales girls don't know what they are doing. She sold me a ion product for my hair to shampoo and condition my hair to keep the brassiness out. I have my hair highlighted 4 days before. On the 5 th day I used the products she suggested and it turned my beautiful color bright blue. I was so upset and she only gave me a refund and then sold me something else on my dime to strip it out of my hair. It cost me 155.00 to get my hair fixed. Corporate doesn't even answer the phone to make a complaint. I won't be shopping there again.

I shop at Sally's for my hair product very often , I went to get my hair dye and the sign said buy 2 get one free. So I get to the register, she says the sale has gone off but the signs are still up. I feel like since the sign is still up I should get it at that price. Very upset because I am a regular patron
