The bait and switch with the food court is not fun. They don’t have pizza or drinks here.

01/30/2024I caught a flat on my way from Denton headed to Gainesville. I found the nearest Walmart which was 8 miles away from where I was. Imagine riding on the highway on a flat. Not good! I have a Mercedes A220 and the likely of anyone having my tire besides Mercedes in unlikely but I took a chance anyway. When I made it to Sam’s Club Chris in automotive tried his best to see if he could help. He automatically knew they didn’t have my tire in stock it had to be ordered so we started weighing options. Options failed. So I told Chris I was two hours away from home with my grandson. Instead of him just saying sorry he jumped right into action. He called 4/5 different which all said the same thing. They had to order it. He didn’t give up. One of the calls he made was to firestone and they needed to order but didn’t want to help because I didn’t come to them first. Straight b/s! We made one last call to call to Good Year and guess what they told Chris they can get my tire but it’ll be an hour because they had to go pick it up from the warehouse. I didn’t care as long as I got one it was worth the wait. Walking out of Sam’s Chris came out and showed me a short cut to get to Good Year since I was riding slow on a flat. Chris went above and beyond to help me and I’m forever grateful to him. I never write reviews but I had to write this one. It was only right that I do so. He deserves it. Give him a raise Thank you Chris

This is the worst Sams club I’ve ever been to! I ordered a pick up 4-5 time slot. I arrived at 4 and my order is still processing and it’s 4:45pm. I called the store manager and he thought this was funny. There are 10 other vehicles waiting and only 1 person who is bringing out groceries. I recommend NO one to come here!!

Under no circumstance should you order monster by the case from this Sams. 4 out of the last 5 cases I have ordered had multiple damaged cans in each case. The last case I opened had 6 cans with the bottoms blown out. Anyone who drinks Monster will know that those six cans will be completely flat when opened. Monster is very expensive. Please do a better job!!!!!! This Sams location is the only one I have dealt with that is such an absolute, constant failure at shipping. It is a surprise to get an order without damaged items. Perhaps it would be wise to select a new shipper or pack your orders much better.....And if you look below, I got the same generic, "copy/paste" response as the comment below mine... That's low class even for Wal-Mart.... Unreal.

There are no longer any Sam's in Washington State so it was nice to visit one in Texas. This is a nice store. Very spacious and we found all that we needed for my best friend's church function very quickly. The self checkout was nice. We needed assistance and someone came very quickly and apologized for the delay. The reason for only three stars is that one of the deli staff was dressed very inappropriately. He had on black pants and blue boxer underwear that REALLY needed to be pulled up. I can't believe they let him work like that. It definitely made me uncomfortable.

Not sure what issues people have with this location, but it has what I need and is always clean. If you do mobile checkout you can avoid the chaos of the checkout line. It gets crowded on occasion, but you just need to time your visits appropriately.

I shop at this Sam’s weekly for the last year and my order is a large order $600+ I have always had great experiences, staff typically is friendly. I go first thing in the morning, there are no crowds and no lines. When I am done shopping the employees will typically open up a register, I always help to load the food up on the belt and re pack the flat cart.Today when I arrived to the register I waited for an employee to come and open a line. Not one of the 4 employees came, so I turned to the manager and asked if someone could open up a register. I was then told there were plenty of registers open as he pointed to the self check out. I was a little annoyed but thought maybe they were short staffed. I then started to think how was I going to properly check out, if you have been to their self check out there is no where to place items for the amount of items I had. I had to go and get another cart. As I began checking out, I see 4 employees standing up at the registers talking and laughing. When I was down to maybe the last 6 items, one of them finally came over and asked if I needed help. I feel this is unacceptable. When I typically shop for my personal house, I prefer self check out, No problem. However how can you expect someone to self check out $700.00 worth of food.Photo attached of what my order is typically, if not more items.

I was there today about 5pm. It was busy they only had ONE Cashier working and a manager with My Little Pony like hair who was helping bag but then got called away. Another manager just standing around and the ATT people trying to get people to sign up with service. The main event was the Chicken of course they have EXCELLENT chicken for $4.99 a whole one and it's great. But upon viewing the cook's BUTT Crack because her skinny jeans revealed a part of her backside we didn't need to see. but most of the customers seem to be focused on the chicken. I had to pass normally I get two chickens but she needs to wear longer pants or the high waisted ones. That is NOT sanitary. I wanted to contact the manager but could not find her once I got up front. So Pay attention to what your cooks are wearing. I know managers play favorites or too scared to send someone home for dress code. She could have worn a apron that went all the way around her body plus she had on a hair cap that looked like a Teddy Bear or some sort of animal. So probably dealing with some issues. But when she bent over i thought is that her bootie crack like a plumber. Plumbers can get away with that because they work outside and doing jobs that require them to get under pipes and that might happen but when you are a cook save your skinny low rise pants for when you are at the club.. That's not fair. So no I didn't buy my two chickens for sanitary reasons. I usually make Chicken salad and put in my Ceasar salads I buy there. But now my meal plan was totally WRONG. I had to go to Kroger. Please make sure this is fixed. I will write corporate office as well. Thanks Byeeeeeee Today is 7.30.2023 Sunday and I was in there today about 5pm to nearly 6. Anyway I don't want to be the bad person here but you all need to make sure people are not cooking and showing body parts that are unsanitary. What if someone gets some sort of illness because she has those gloves touching everything including pulling up her pants. Yall need to have dress code. HIGH WASTE pants please. We don't want booty juice in our food. If you don't believe roll cameras back see for yourself. Also I do not work there. Why should I check myself out? I don't want to use Self Check out that's why lines so long Plus yall think all Black people steal so please hire some cashiers and stop trying to get over on us. We do not work for you. You can't even have baggers to help move things along. It's just really sad. As for my chicken. No way I was buying chicken from someone putting it in pans who can't even pull up their pants. I know many workers are homeless and challenged with housing. No problem but many of the places will give them work pants like Our Daily Bread or many of thrift shops sell low cost pants. This is so sad.. I couldn't even believe why so many people are trying to justify that she's ok because they don't want to be the KAREN or the Crazy shopper who complains but what if fecal matter got in the chicken???? What if we have to go to hospital because she did something. I saw too much from where I was standing near the pasteries. I settled for Key Lime pie tho. YUMMMMMMMM. I will come in when the regular Cooks are there the men who wear proper attire

PROs: Friendly staff. We were greeted at least a few times walking through the store. The carts move smoothly. The self check out register worked great without problems. Less crowded. The parking lot was clear of debris. Great location!Thank you to Maria, she was friendly and smiling while she talked to customers and attentive at the register area. We've visited other Sam's in different states and different areas in Texas. So far this Sam's impressed us. For me, it will be worth driving 20 mins to this location.

It's hard to believe this is the same company as Walmart's. I honestly get anxiety or start to feel overwhelmed when I go in Walmart's but I LOVE SAM'S Club. Sam's doesn't have a bunch of people who seem Zombified and running into you or just moving too fast like they are in a trance. Sam's is more laid back and I feel much more relaxed shopping there. For real.I'm so happy that Denton has a Sam's and I don't have to drive to Lewisville. This is the BEST store. It's organized, clean, and not stressful to shop in.I love the fact that I can often order and have them put in trunk of car. I love the options that they offer in Sam's. They have really good rates on products. All we need now in Denton is a Costco. I love Sams and Costco! The only real complaint is that they could have a few more Cashiers to check us out. Afterall, I do not work there. I have a job so I don't like checking myself out or working for them for free. See usually in the past Grocery Stores rang up customers, packed their groceries, and assisted them with carry-outs. I liked things better that way. Now they EXPECT shoppers to go to a job and work 40+ hours to have MONEY to pay for groceries. Then walk around those HUGE stores pushing a cart that is super heavy. Next they want us to put the groceries up on counter and scan them OURSELVES, then put back in cart and/or bag. Then put in car, next take out of car, put in house. Do you see how there are WAY too many steps for us to buy from stores. So I tend to go to cashier because I must reduce some steps. I order online but I need to pick my own veggies and meats. I don't really like for others to get stuff then act like it's out of stock if they can't find. I don't like that.I've observed in the University Dr. Store mangers standing around doing NOTHING while customer lines backed up. NOT GOOD!!!!!Meanwhile the two cashiers are just working their fingers to the bone. Let the mangers check out or help get the lines down. What are you folks thinking???I used to work in Grocery store business for many years. We always tried to Keep the lines moving. Our Store Director didn't like to see lines backed up. We know peak times he made sure we had enough staff to help customers get home and keep moving with their lives. We had baggers/sackers that really helped speed up the process. Now stores do not CARE... Stop with "STATUS BAITING" who cares if you're a mgr then that means you know how to help keep the lines moving and help the cashier. That's what I like about Costco they have someone to assist the cashier, by helping scan or pack. So I took off oNe star because your lines are too long and you have staff standing around NOT being productive. Also the watermelon bin in the front needs a sign to state how much the melons are. I had to Ask that group of mgrs how much they were they all stated $6.99 well if they are $6.99 put a sign up. I don't get it you are all managers and you see there is NO sign to tell people how much the melons are.. Put a sign up so everyone will know. How hard is that? you don't care because you are there to get paid you don't care how the customer has to look for rate. That's not fair.I love the selection but when I go in person it seems that these are the places they are lacking. they need to work on getting people thru the lines more efficiently. But other than that. I love Sams and Costco!

The online pick up area needs to be better policed for people parking and going into the store to shop and then go to other stores to shop and taking up an online pick up space.
