Found this place by accident with a friend and her husband. At first her and I were put off by the whole romance theme but her husband was curious and we all 3 fell in love with this place! Even bought my first romance book!
Went back a week later with more friends and almost everyone bought something they liked. I definitely got more stuff. And both times staff was super nice.

I was in the area visiting the matcha shop and antique shop , Then I saw this cute book bar. i cant say if we were greeted because we were so in AWWW because the book bar is so cute and unique. My daughter said it had all her type of reads in there, me not much… Cute little nic naks i wanted to take all of them home. I did ask for help and the lady I asked went above and beyond to find me something and I appreciate that. Even when she was interrupted she never left she answered the question and kept looking… I don’t live in Denton but I will make the 45min drive again if the book I got today is a winner for me!!

Love it here! The book selection is top notch! The owners/team are so friendly and helpful. I read a lot but always manage to find something that I haven’t heard of before. Also, I’m obsessed with sprayed edges and they have great options. Make sure to get a cocktail or mocktail too!

After stalking this book store on socials for months, my husband and I finally stopped by the store last Saturday! There was a great selection of books (full bookcases), the store was packed with customers creating a lovely buzz of excitement, and there was also a good selection of book goods (totes, stickers, etc). The staff was friendly and we had a great time. Also - an added bonus was seeing the twilight Lego set 😂 We can’t wait to go back!

I was disappointed with my experience at the bookstore. Drove almost an hour to visit just to feel uncomfortable because the lady at the cash register was constantly watching us. 🫤

i went to an event at a half price books and employees from plot twist were there. they were horrible over there and i can’t imagine how horrible they are here. they skipped the lines, made other people wait while they took a group picture, and it was two books per person and they brought so many books to sell them at their location, probably very marked up.
update: actually, you brought more books than what the organizer/ tickets said! ticket said that she will personalize the book she just released and one additional book, yall brought 2+ each which is over the amount the ticket had said.

I love romance fiction, and this book store exceeded all my expectations. They were playing Gilmore Girls when I came in, and if that wasn’t comfort enough, they knew all about the books I was interested in when asked for a new read. My best friends and I plan on going back very soon. 🖤

The best bookstore in Denton ❤️ the staff are so wonderful and knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of subgenres so anything you're into they're bound to have. The bar has fantastic mocktails and cocktails. I can't wait to go back!
