I had a trailer hitch installed and they forgot the screws that hold my tail light on and so it went flying off and broke. When I called they said don't worry they would replace it. I waited three days and did not hear anything so I called Leo the GM got on the phone and tried to say it was my fault. this after the installer had told me the screws in his magnetic cup. He then told me I had to file a claim. I asked Dif he would send me the screws because it was a one hour drive one way, he said no. When I arrived he was called and proceeded to be rude. I asked why he did not call if I had to file a claim? He LIED and said he called and left a message. I have no record of any call let aloe a message. I now will be without a car for at least a week if not more. So. do not use them if you need to use your car.

we rented a storage at this location for it to be flood and we were never informed. when we tried... and tried to reach the management they never returned our calls and then when we were concerned about our property the management acted like it was our fault that our things got flooded and had an attitude with us. if i were you...find a better safer palce to store your valuables.

Edit/update 6/23/22: I finally got in touch with the store and they are processing the late fee refund. What an ordeal trying to get someone local on the phone though - if they are busy and can't answer it rolls over to a call center and it's very frustrating when only someone at the actual store location can help you. Changing the review from 2 stars to 4 because, again, the people at the actual store location are very helpful. TLDR: U-Haul has billing problems, no way to rectify the situation, horrible communication, no way to reach store directly other than going in person...Only reason for 2 stars is the people inside the store are nice. Uh oh...Houston we have a problem! I rented a storage unit and set up auto-pay at the store. Out of an abundance of caution I double checked that auto-pay was set up prior to the due date. It was not. I re-enrolled in it again and verified the card was still on file, which it was. Imagine my surprise today when I received a notice of a late fee and non -payment of rent. Attempting to reach the store via phone led me to a call center where I was informed the rep I spoke to could only take a payment from me which included the erroneously charged late fee. I asked for someone who could resolve the entire issue at once and was transferred to a "customer service" call center where I was informed it would be over an hour wait. Luckily they had a call back service so I did that. Again, what a surprise when the rep informed me that auto-pay was still not set up, but the card was on file and then after she refreshed the page it was on. Unfortunately, she could not assist me with crediting the late fee, the store itself would have to do that. Well...I'm unable to reach the store via phone. Just now I received a notice I've been charged for the late fee and the rental. When you are there in person, they are all nice and very willing to help. Trying to reach someone by other means is next to impossible and I just can't drive 4 hours to talk to someone in person. This is a horrible way to handle this situation and until I can get there in person I guess we are stuck with this late charge even though it should have never been billed. The only reason this gets 2 stars is that the people at the actual store are nice.

The young Man assisting me was polite and helpful. The experience was more pleasant and easier than I expected. I have used two other U-Hauls before with less than satisfied experiences. But this Denton location was great. Thanks for great management.

Got a trailer hitch installed on my SUV and the guy who installed it just laid the wiring installation kit for the brake lights in the cargo area. He didn't even fully install it under the car like it says to do. And when I confronted the front desk about it they said that's how they do all installs and that closing the back door on the wires during towing will not hurt the wires at all..Will never go back there for anything. They are the worst Uhaul place I've ever been to and I've used multiple Uhaul places

Every time I call uhaul there's is at minimum a 10 minute wait. When I went there to schedule in person because no one called me back, I stood in line for about 20 minutes while one guy took his sweet ass time. Uhaul has a monopoly on the DIY moving trailers, so they feel like they can take till Christmas to service their customers. Tired of this shit.

Rented a truck to move my whole apartment and it was the quickest and easiest moving experience of my life. Wouldn't have been able to pull it off without the truck I rented.

We came in to get a trailer and had some difficulties getting it hooked up. However, Chase and his staff definitely went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of.

These people were very helpful when we needed to tow our car from 100 miles away when it became disabled on the way to Austin. We were able to rent a pickup truck and a tow dolly for a reasonable price. We were able to transport it safely to the car dealership in Denton for repairs. The instruction videos were easy to understand and refer to. The staff at this location also gave us a run through. I hope we don't have to do this again, but we will go here first if we need to.

We arrived 1 minute before closing and the staff was so accommodating and helpful although they had already shut down the cash registers, they got us handled so perfectly. Chad and Makenzie were awesome and we will always come here going forward. Thanks folks!

I signed up for yelp specifically to write a negative review for this U-Haul. I was on hold for over 30 minutes when I called in to make the reservation a couple days prior to dropping off my vehicle to get trailer lights wired up. When I dropped off my vehicle, there were 20 customers in line and only one person behind the counter. After waiting for 20 minutes and making no forward progress, I walked out to the shop, gave a print out of my reservation to one of the workers and told him I was going to miss my reservation window if I couldn't get someone to take my keys and get my vehicle checked in. I double checked with this guy that my vehicle would be ready in one hour like I was told when I made the reservation. He said that it would be ready in one hour. I left and tried to call back an hour later to check and see if it was done. I was put on hold for over 20 minutes just to be told that the store had forwarded their phones to an answering service. They tried instant messaging the store, but got no response. I went back to the store. They finished up 2 hours after I had dropped it off. I had to wait in another line for 15 minutes to pay and get my keys. The credit card machine wasn't working. When I walked out of the store, my vehicle had been blocked because of where the U-haul employee had parked it. Looked at the receipt after I left and noticed they charged me $10 for an additional 2 year warranty that I wasn't told about and certainly didn't ask for. This was a terrible experience.

Came in for a personal trailer part and noticed I had lighting issues- the wire had pulled apart. The guys here were more than willing to check out and were even able to fix it. Before I knew it I was out the door! I've been here for hitch install, moving supplies, moving truck and even a trailer for weekend projects,etc. Highly recommend based on products, rental availability and customer service! Thank you for being in our community!

Really nice, courteous, clean, organized, and helpful. I had to both drop off and pick up at this location. They helped install and remove a tow dolly, and had my truck in stock eventhough corporate messed up. The person that checked the vehicles out also helped with inspection, which is helpful.
