Oh gosh... I HIGHLY recommend U-Haul Moving & Storage of Denton, and in particular, General Manager Leonardo "Pepe" Aguilu Carrion! I went in there last week, and needed some assistance, in which that store would not profit from. Pepe was super helpful with a return that I had, which was from a different U-Haul store. The next time I need U-Haul services, I am going to "Pepe" for sure. Thank you sir!

U-Haul has really gone downhill. Location was massively understaffed, waits were way too long, equipment was covered in damage that was not marked by inspection stickers, and the mileage cost for just a single day was borderline extortionary. I will NEVER be utilizing U-Haul again nor will I be recommending it to anyone. Very sad to see how low this business has sunk.

First off, the truck I received was dangerous to drive due to a mechanical issue, the windshield was a smeared mess so bad I had yo stop and clean it so I could see. I was told to bring it back and wouldn't be charged for it and come to find out I am being charged for it and the replacement truck. I had to take a day off to get this move done and had limited time, that time didn't include having to return broken equipment, as a paying customer I was expecting to receive properly maintained equipment. Some of the people there seem clueless as to how to do their job, I reserved a car hauler and if not for me paying attention I would have been double charged for a trailer that I was told was rented out already. Not satisfied by any means.

The cost to rent is too high. Is the truck made out of gold? If I am paying more than 500 dollars for the truck I should be able to go faster than 75 miles per hour!

The first location we choose in Argyle did not have truck keys in the lockbox. So after 30
Minutes of trying to find the keys with U-HAUL over the phone they made a new reservation at the location in Denton. I drove to U-HAUL of Denton and they were quick to get me in a 26 foot truck. When I returned the truck later that day they emailed the final receipt and charged me $78 for gas even though I returned the truck with more gasoline than when I picked it up. I only drove the truck 16 total miles and put $20 in gas in it before returning the truck. I got
Home and looked at the digital receipt and saw the $78 gas charge. Keep in mind we
moved all day and had issues, it was a long day. When I called U-HAUL the store had their phones transferred to the call center. The call center would not transfer me to the local store. They had to submit a ticket and send to the manager at that store. So I drove back to the Denton U-Haul store and asked the staff to check the fuel Gauge in the truck to see if I returned it with a 1/4 tank, which I knew i did. They checked and said I was right, the paperwork was off and I should not have been charged. Could they have not helped me out over the phone and done this without me driving all to the way back to the store? No apology or reason that the paperwork said the tank was almost empty when there was 1/4 of a tank when I dropped it off. Between my first reservation not having keys in the lock box and then getting ripped off for gas, this was a horrible experience. I am a loyal U-HAUL customer but will be taking my business elsewhere.

I recently went to pick up a moving van, this location made the experience very easy especially given I had a previous balance due. Very time efficient and the employees were extremely friendly, usually don’t typically get serviced in the way of it being so in the moment in, in this time anymore. I worked with Abigail, Amber, and the manager to get things done. Highly recommend this location for your moving expenses and time management. Thank you guys one love ???

I had a trailer hitch installed and they did not put the screws in the tail light and it fell out and broke. When I called I was told they would replace I, Three days passed and I did not hear back, the GM Leo lied and said he called and said I had to file a repot. I will be without a car for more than a week before they even assign someone to my case. Do not use them if you need your car.
