Terrible!!!We went to the Frisco location. We were sold on the idea that it would be a friendly, warm environment to help with social skills training. It was not. On our first day we were the first to arrive, and instead of greeting us we were told that we needed to stay in our cars and they would get us later. My daughter uses a fidget to help her as a coping skill and they tried to take it from her hand and chastise her for using a fidget. She is really shy and they were demanding she speak to the other girls. It was her first day and she never met these people before in her life. They were making fun of her for twirling her hair. My daughter was there for only 10 minutes. It is something she does as a result of her anxiety but they run the place like a prison!! I don't know if it was because of her race but she was not welcome there. Do not send your teen to this place!!!!

An organization that is not inclusive. The initial intake call was so unprofessional and uncaring. Employee was rude and abrasive. Would not recommend.

United Through Hope is a great resource in the Denton area for families of children and young adults with autusm. They have programs to help address the social needs of clients with the goal of helping them become productive citizens as they go out into the world. Their most recent innovations include opening transitional housing programs in the local area for young adults, providing them with real life experience with roommates, paying bills, career planning and problem solving.Compared to the very few other resources for transitional housing in the area, this is by far the best bargain, providing quality services at a reasonable/manageable price as a non-profit service to the community. My son has been involved in UTH programs off and on for a few years.

Really amazing place. Great programming for multiple age levels and a variety of challenges. Kids learn to deal with problems head on here with peers that have their own struggles. They learn to help support each other which is an amazing thing to witness.

My son has been going here for probably about five years and I can't say enough good things about the programs and all the staff. They take such good care of him and are really interested in his growth and development as a person. They have helped him learn so many good lessons as well as giving him opportunities to socialize with other kids like him and kids that don't look down on him or treat him different because he's a little different. He always has so much fun. They really make sure that the kids are safe and well taken care of at all times. We love Dr. Harrier and her staff!

my review is no longer true, therefore am taking it off since I am now questioning the way Dr. Harrier values my child...We have always paid every event even if my child ended up not attending and even made donations! but to ask for money on an event that we never received a final confirmation email for is simply not acceptable considering our good record! The fact that she isn't owning up to her error is a big red flag! all she cares about is her money! not the relationship with the kids and their parents.

Dr. Harrier is a life saver! For kids and parents. Her programs and resources are the absolute best. Fan for life. She truly cares about all the kids (and families) and works miracles on those little brains.

They only care about money and not the relationship with there clients. I am now questioning if their events are even worth it.

This group has been life changing for my son and my family. The director and staff have helped him understand in a non-judgemental environtment the social rules. It is much better to learn from others in this group where everyone is learning then to be bullied at school for not understanding the social rules. They set high expectations and teach him how to meet these social rules. It is hard sometimes, but learning a new skill is not easy. I explain to him everyone struggles in life with something. Some kids it's math or science. For him it is social skills. This is his tutoring for how the social world works. I will always recommend UTH.

I love this place. I have been attending events here since late March of 2019. I attend Teen Talk, League of Friends, and MSMU. I don't want to stop attending but I know I'll have to in the future since it only goes through to adulthood.

Unprofessional pushy director, and lead staff is no better. My child was literally bullied by "Ms. Thatcher" and came home crying. As a parent I expected my child to be treated with respect and not judged for being different. I unfortunately experienced the opposite.

Ok i think it's time to publish this review about my worst ever experience with United through H.O.P.E so here is what happened I went to this arcade type place where there is laser tag and stuff like that i was having fun and i had my phone in my bag and went to go and see if I had any messages from friends or people 3 seconds later I see the event organizer come full speed up to me and took my phone out of my hand for no reason i then said what the heck women why would you do that to my phone she all most broke my phone i managed to yank my phone out of her hands and ran for a hiding spot to see if my phone had been damaged I almost called the police on her and told her if my phone had been damaged i almost would have file a lawsuit against her for the damage to my phone and by the time i was hiding i went running out of the place and went into my car and went home and slept for the rest of the night i am really upset at this business for the way the event organizer handle the situation in rating this business negative 5 stars this is the worst business ever
