I love this store! Today was my first time coming here (over Plato's Closet at my daughter's insistence) and I was selling items. The process is so easy, and quick! The employees were extremely nice and patient! I also LOVE the stuff they have for sale! And affordable prices too! I highly recommend Uptown Cheapskate!👍👍👍

I went in here and they were selling a used romper for $74 thats ridiculous they probably gave the person $10. Their “brand” names are way too expensive for a thrift store that’s not even new with tags.. also please don’t sell your clothes here you won’t get anything

DO NOT GO HERE TO SELL CLOTHES! I brought in 4 bags of BARELY used clothes and brand new stuff. After 35 minutes of waiting they told me they could not take a single item. Because it had stains or was worn out. (Which only 1 shirt had a stain and nothing was worn out except one pair of boots) Walking around that store I saw several DIRTY shoes, dresses with holes in them, shirts with lots of loose strings, and extremely worn out pants. The sales ladies basically told me that my clothes were trash and I should go somewhere else to sell them because my clothes did not fit there “standard”. Wish I could give this place zero stars because what a waste of my time!

My husband brought my old clothes in after I cleaned out my closet. They texted and told him they were taking 30 items. He brought back a whopping $40. I probably would have told him to say nevermind had I realized how low their purchase price was. So, I asked him for the receipt of items purchased. He said Uptown told him it's not their policy to give an itemized receipt and they couldn't show him what was purchased because it was already put up for inventory. I called the store when he got home and got someone who refused to give me their name because I was being aggressive when asking about the stores policies. She of course then hung up on me. It feels a bit shady, like I had been scammed. They must've only paid out a dollar or 2 for what was brought in. I don't know how this place has good reviews. Ive brought my clothes into other locations and have never had this experience.

My sister and I both came into the store separately at different times today and we both returned home with a story of the same girl with short dark hair and lots of piercings being unprofessional and rude to us

Never coming back here, men’s pants are over priced and can’t get a refund or store credit because it’s on sale tag ticket and come on now these girls employees are dressed half naked they should have a dress code policy🤦♂️🤦♂️

Got some quick cash for extra clothes that I had as I went through my closet. Clothes that they didn’t buy were donated anyways so it worked out well and was very seamless and happened all in the same day

If I can give zero stars I would. Manager was rude and disrespectful towards me and my family. Seems to me they favored other customers who were a specific demographic. I wore pajamas to shop because I was comfortable because I was ignored when I asked for help when looking for something. Every customer matters regardless of their ethnicity or how they dress. Never again will I shop here
