“Passing through Blossom and stop to check out the town and take pictures of Post Office #327 on my trip. This is a interesting post office with its center entrance and the porch that stick out over it. The first PO open around 1849 under the name of Blossom Prairie. In 1886 the town decide to shorten it to just Blossom. The people do a great job here and the building was in great shape. Keep up the good work.”
“Stop to visit PO #328 in Detroit TX. This is a nice open Post Office with big window in the front. The people here do a great job in taking care of the place. From what I understand the town was first call Bennett. Then in 1887 J. M. Stephens, the local railway agent, renamed the town Detroit for his former home in Michigan.”
“The Pattonville post office building's in good repair, small & efficient - has customer care counter & PO Box Cubby hole. Large parking lot, small yard. Plaque on front dedicates building to public service - 1976.”
“The Deport post office seems proficient & is well tended, seems to be suitably-organized. Like many PO's in small communities, it has a customer service desk reserved for business-hours-only in a sequestered area. Post Boxes line the walls since design disallows commonly-used cubby holes. Very clean facility. Small but productive.”
