“I brought my Honda Civic in to get the brakes checked and repaired. I got a good vibe from the woman at the counter who was nice and straightforward. She quoted me a reasonable estimate for installing new brake pads and warned me that it might be more if they found damage to the rotors. We agreed that I'd drop off the car in the morning so it would be ready by the end of the next day.
I dropped off the car in the morning and they said they'd replace the brake pads or let me know if more was needed. They called a few hours later and let me know that yes, unfortunately they would need to replace the rotors too. This was bad news but the price they quoted, around $650, was still lower than I had seen people paying online.
Near the end of the day I called for an update. They let me know that there had been a slip up and my front fender had been damaged. They had quickly gone to a junkyard and found a fender to replace it.
They felt bad about the mistake and I was expecting a discount for the trouble. When I went to pay they said this one was free of charge!
So, they fixed my brakes, gave me a new fender and charged me nothing! I really respect their ethics and I will be taking my Honda back to them if I have problems in the future. Thanks Rising Sun!!”
“Stoppedby this location last night because I had an emissions error warning pop up.
Dre grabbed a scanner and ran out in the cold and pulled up the error codes for me. He and Robert looked them both up on the computer and told me what I needed to know about the problem and the best way to proceed. Robert sent me home with helpful printouts so I could consult with my dealer, who had just done a repair that might be involved with what was going wrong.
The whole event was quite expedient, and both gentlemen were very friendly. Now, if I could just get the dealer to be as cooperative...”
