A local mechanic shop on Hampton Road wanted to charge me $2,450 for a repair. So I wanted a second opinion and took it to Kar Medic. They could not find anything wrong with it and charged me $45. When I showed them the invoice from the other repair shop they laughed and made a copy of it. LOL LOL. Very busy place but really good honest people.

I used Kar Medic for years up until last year when my vehicle was incorrectly repaired. I trusted the owner because I was pleased with his work over the previous years. However, the first issue was being quoted a final Price for the work that changed once the work was completed without advance notification. The hoses and radiator repairs failed within two weeks with minimal driving of the vehicle. The shop stopped answering my calls and that's when I knew they were aware of the bad service I had received. I am now having to have the exact same repairs done again which is very costly. I entrusted you to provide honest and reliable service but that was not what I received that last fewtimes. I am very disappointed in the way I was ignored and I really hope that no one else receives such poor service and inappropriate repairs that will cost them as much as this has cost me. You all should be ashamed but I'm certain you're not. The main reason we as a people prefer not to do business in our community isbecause business is handled with such bad service and extreme unprofessionalism. Very, very disappointed in Kar Medic, the owner and mechanic team.

Upon entrusting my vehicle to Kar Medic, I was met with promises of thorough repairs and exceptional service. However, what ensued was a series of egregious missteps that left me questioning their integrity and expertise. Despite shelling out a significant sum, the service I received was nothing short of appalling.
Let's delve into the specifics:
Deceptive Practices: Kar Medic repeatedly assured me that they had addressed the issues plaguing my vehicle, only for the same problems to resurface shortly after leaving their premises. It became abundantly clear that their assurances were nothing more than empty promises aimed at masking their incompetence.
Incompetent Repairs: Instead of accurately diagnosing and fixing the issues, Kar Medic resorted to guesswork, replacing parts haphazardly in the hopes of stumbling upon a solution. As a result, I was left with a hefty bill for parts that were unnecessary and failed to resolve the underlying problems.
Unauthorized Charges: To add insult to injury, Kar Medic attempted to slip unauthorized parts into my vehicle and had the audacity to charge me for them without my consent. This blatant disregard for transparency and customer consent is utterly reprehensible and speaks volumes about their business ethics.
Repeated Visits: Despite making multiple trips to Kar Medic in an attempt to rectify the issues, I was met with incompetence at every turn. It is unfathomable that a purportedly reputable establishment could fail so spectacularly in delivering on their promises.
In conclusion, my experience with Kar Medic has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their deceptive practices, incompetent repairs, unauthorized charges, and overall lack of accountability have left me disillusioned and out of pocket. I implore anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution or risk falling victim to their unscrupulous tactics.

Tried to help black owned business! Water pump supposed to been replaced 3yrs later same problem. Air suspension shocks repaired couple yrs later same problem. When I took it to another shop they told me I needed a water pump, explained to them I had it replaced. They told me it hadn't. I was very disappointed I will never go back.
