“I grew up with a mechanic who took care of all our cars until he passed away when I was in my early twenties. After moving to Dallas, I struggled to find a trustworthy mechanic, whether at a small shop or a dealership. I often encountered issues such as incomplete work, mistakes, or even had to request my old parts back to ensure I was receiving the services I paid for.
However, I accidentally discovered Carlin's when I lived in Duncanville for a year, and it has been an amazing experience. This place is incredible – they don't try to upsell you. Instead, they explain what repairs are needed, what can wait, and what can't. Their pricing is fair and honest, and all the technicians are polite, professional, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable. They do fantastic work!
I assure you, you won't regret going to Carlin's. It’s almost a one-stop shop, and I believe they plan to expand their services to include front-end alignments, which would cover almost everything you need. If there’s something they can't do, they’ll let you know and refer you to someone reliable.
I truly hope this place lasts for another 25 years, as that’s about how long I have left on this Earth. I would love to know that I can rely on Carlin's for every car I own in the future, without worrying about whether the vehicle will be safe and roadworthy. It wouldn't let me post this without a photo so I'm posting a picture of the car they worked on which was a 2018 Chevrolet Sonic LT which by the way they no longer make on the parts are from Mexico and Canada which can be expensive and hard to find but I never have any issues when I take it to Carlin's.”

“I had my vehicle impounded as it was stolen and then found by Dallas police. The two ladies at the front (Theresa and the other lady who was there after on 06/09 around 6 pm) were great and professional. Normally places like these are not customer centric but I was able to get my personal belongings with ease and recover everything!!! I was apprehensive from the other reviews but even the tow drivers inside the impound were super nice and gave me more direction on where my car could be. Thank you for making this one less thing to stress about bc having your car stolen is not fun. If y’all can’t get through on the phone, come in person during the day and it will go well!
