“Passing through Blossom and stop to check out the town and take pictures of Post Office #327 on my trip. This is a interesting post office with its center entrance and the porch that stick out over it. The first PO open around 1849 under the name of Blossom Prairie. In 1886 the town decide to shorten it to just Blossom. The people do a great job here and the building was in great shape. Keep up the good work.”
“My grandfather was Cecil Latimer he was the postmaster when it was newly built 60s 70s he retired in the early 80s his name is on the plaque, he also coached baseball and was in the Lions club and VFW, and the mayor and school board, small Texas town community leader, when I was younger after baseball games we would stop to lock up, ahh the memories of that Post Office.”
