I don’t like how there is a extra 10% charge for the ace hardware store on the food king side they tell you and have signed everywhere but ace had their own register and no signs yet still charged 10% more I expected better from ace wont be coming back

My husband went into there to get a part for our truck. It was in the nuts and bolts area . He didn't get much help. The person who helped him gave him a part that was the wrong size . My husband took it back and asked for his money back. They wouldn't refund it . He finally got the part he needed which was cheaper and had two in a package . The aisle was a mess . There were packages that were open and bolts missing . This single bolt was more expensive. He had to keep it since it was opened. He had to open it to see if it would fit. He didn't get a receipt, so the cashier wouldn't refund it . He had to make two trips there. The second picture has two and was cheaper. We were not satisfied with the service . They always want you to shop local and this is what you get . No Satisfaction

Perfect example of an ineffective work force. No one cares. Brought in a recently purchased Stihl chainsaw that stopped working. I asked that it was under warranty. The manager and lower person acted like I asked them about the origins of the universe. They said we don’t know. We don’t work on them. I said well if I buy a chainsaw here and it stops working and under warranty where am I supposed to take it? “Oh, I don’t know” then she and the lower person just walked away. Ace - “the helpful place” joke. Don’t buy an expensive chainsaw here expecting any kind of customer service. I understand covid created a “don’t care” attitude with employees but this was a little egregious.
