I grew up here & visit every time I go back. Just good, homemade authentic Mexican food. Order to take out or eat at picnic tables under the oak trees. Lunch plates for $8. Of course, they have tortillas but, for me, the tamales are the star.

Small place. Only pickup. Best tacos ever!! Delicious bar b que and menudo. Breakfast tacos of all kinds. Tamales. Carnitas.tortillas are homemade. We always stop there on our way to San Antonio.

the place is in an inconvenient spot and there is very little parking and the building is very crowded and small but the food there is delicious
