“I love this place! I only ever go to the pet store side, they have great prices on hay for small animals (guinea pigs) and a decent selection of dog treats that aren't just a bunch of chemicals thrown together. I've never had an issue with the staff being rude, they just don't seem too excited to be there sometimes, but they are younger so I can't necessarily complain. I can't say anything about the grooming side, I've personally never used them. However I do have a few friends that swear by them, and they are the only groomers they'll go to.”
“We have had Lynn's Landscaping do two major jobs for us. Two years ago they redid our front yard which had been an eyesore for many years. They suggested reducing the size of the front beds by adding paving stones - which really classed up the front of our house! The plants that they suggested all survived the freeze and came back beautifully in the spring. We then contacted them to provide landscaping around our new patio/outdoor kitchen in our back yard. This was a challenge because of the slope of our backyard. But they added a retaining wall and the low maintenance plants that I requested really finished it off nicely. My contractor for the outdoor kitchen was very impressed on how they dressed up his work! Highly recommend Lynns. Their workers are very professional and very accommodating.”

“I ordered 4 yards of garden soil on a Saturday. They promised delivery in 2 hours and it was dumped in the spot I asked for within the promised time frame. The girl who answered the phone was pleasant and efficiently handled my call. The driver of the truck was quick and careful of our power lines. He had to be a skilled driver to get into our driveway and dump the load quickly without doing any damage. I will call again.”
“They want to be the big name store but they run out of stuff all the time and sometimes it is weeks before it shows up again and sometimes it never does. They raise the prices on stuff all the time. The try to be competitive with the other stores but some of there prices are higher than other stores. I started shopping at Walmart because they were cheaper than the chain stores. They got a store full of cash register but only a few are being used at all times. The store I shop at has about 10 self checkout on each end is the store and in the middle of the store the only register that sells cigarettes is about the only thing I see open they 4 self checkout with belts for large groceries but never opened.They out three personal on the 10 self checkouts 1 of them can do the self checkouts with belts. Another store I shop at has nothing but self checkouts and there are at a person over 4 self checkouts and one more extra to help out but the first 6 on each end of store are the only ones I see that are open all the time.”

“Edited review: I am now thoroughly convinced that the people at Home depot are part of a community, willing to listen, help, and do whatever it takes to keep the League City and surrounding area supplied to the best of their abilities. These people are legitimately courteous, respectful, and overall willing to go above and beyond what is necessary to get a job done. This last week I had a problem with my recently purchased Tuff shed. My review with them will remain the same because they only fixed the problem when coerced by a major company, not because it was the right thing to do. They just didn't want their contract with Home depot jeopardized. I get it. But as a consumer, I judge their motivations, and they aren't ethical. The manager at Home depot Listened to me when I called. He heard me, understood that this was not an acceptable problem with a shed that was less than a month old, and got on the problem right away. He called Tuff Shed Corporate office and advocated on my behalf. Got a hold of people I could never dream of speaking to. Rattled some cages. Got something done. Within a few hours, he had someone out to fix my shed- THAT DAY. What a guy. That is why I changed my review. I debated whether to leave my old review up or not, but I decided that if you wanted to read on, to see the issue and how upset I was, and how grateful I am at having a manager go out of his way (not having any clue about this review, by the way, he was just doing his job) to help out a customer who had been wronged by a company that they were partnering with, a company who was sending representatives to sit out in their parking lot day in and day out, saying hi to people, shake hands in good faith, and then swindle people right under their noses, that you should have the right to see it. You can also pop on over to tuff shed to see their review. I got a response by the way. He left an email for me to contact them. Funny, because I have left almost a dozen voicemails and emails before leaving these yelp reviews. Funny how that works... Here's the original review: I am so disappointed. I expected more from a company as reputable as this. I bought a basic 10x12 Tuff Shed from the League City Home Depot in mid March. Had it installed April 1st (I know, foreshadowing, right?!?) Less than a month after installation, the problems have started. My door started sticking. There is a gap in the back where the light comes. And now, exactly one month after install, the door will not even close. AT ALL. I put everything in that shed, and now I can't even lock it. How can I feel safe, knowing I can't even lock up my shed at night? Knowing I can't even close the door? When I called for help, I got the run around. Speaks a great deal for the kindness of salesmen... their smiles stop the minute you sign across the dotted line and hand them their check. What did this slime ball say? He literally told me to go on Craigslist to find someone to fix it for me. Excuse me? Really? You don't warranty your work? Why did I go with a name brand then? But I digress...and kept reading the fine print, searching the 3 point font for anything that might be of use. So far all I have is a headache. I then called customer service warranty department to see if they could help. They were nicer, at least. Assured me someone would be out to fix the problem. Funny thing is, that day came and went, and no one ever showed up. No one called. No one even rescheduled. Nothing. And now I just get a "leave a message after the tone" recording. I am beginning to wonder just how reputable this company really is. Tuff Shed, shame on you. You are swindling people out of their hard earned money, giving them the impression that you back up your work when you have no interest in doing anything but lining your own pockets. Home Depot, you should be ashamed of yourself as well, doing business with sleazy company like this. With a company that went from excellent customer service to utilizing used car salesmen tactics for a quick sale. Figure this re”

“Always love this place and always spend too much money because they just have so much great stuff. The staff is excellent. I had to make a quick stop to pick up an Easter gift for my mother. They directed me exactly to where the specific flowers I needed where. Had an excellent selection of colors at a VERY reasonable price and they helped carry my plants from the shelf to the register and then loaded them up in my truck. Which as a person in a wheelchair is a God sent. I will continue to use Houston Garden Centers as long as they're in business.”
