Be careful going here. Absolutely horrible experience with the staff. A Sales Associate approached me and directly accused me of stealing without any evidence. I don't steal! I let her search my bag and you could see that she knew she messed up. Did not even receive an apology. Maybe don't make accusations before even knowing if theft has occurred. I was ready to spend some $ on big decorations and immediately changed my mind after that poor handling of h the situation. Maybe take your $ elsewhere too so you don't have to deal with ignorance.

Good selection, but a bit pricey for my taste. Nice staff. Self admitted I'm a little bit of a tight wad.

Nice employees but no animatronics or props. Bay Area Blvd. location has everything. 5* for employees but 1* for only costumes.

The customer service here was awful for me! My husband bought our 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter costumes from the Baybrook location October 30th evening. When he got home my son was super excited for this costume, it was a silver ninja! He began to try it on and the hooded mask and gloves were missing.. we called and no one answered the 866 Number, of course. It was around 8:30 at this time so I rushed to the location near our home. It was not in stock. He said try a different location. I went to the one on Farnham in River Oaks, here in Houston. I left my bag at the front with the receipt and went in search of the costume. I immediately found it as well as an addition to my daughter's costume. I get to the counter and she gets my bag and I give her the costume and receipt and she begins the exchange. She asks why I'm returning and I say (being honest) the gloves and hood are missing. She says oh we can't take it back at this store you have to go to the original store. I'm like uh that is not what the Pearland store said. I said the original store is almost an hour away. She's like I'm sorry you should've checked inside before leaving! I'm like "what! If that's the case, there needs to be a sign that tells customers to check open their packets before leaving." She claims most people do! I turn around and ask the lady next to me was she planning on doing that and she said no! So I'm stuck with this $30.00 costume with no head or gloves!! I will never purchase from this company again if this is the policy you've trained your store managers to follow! My kids private school uses this company to purchase their end of year school production! Trust me when I say I will be letting them know how horrible the customer service is!!! I would expect more from this area!

The worst quality Halloween make up ever. Paid for fake eyelashes that literally would not stick at all. Never again.

For a small store it packed a big punch. Very clean and great staff. Hope to see a larger store Next Year in Dickinson Texas!

I'm not what sure scared me more the spooky costumes, or the weirdo-s who work there. Everyone was very sweet and kept tapping me on the shoulder, but the couple of people who kept trying to speak to me were a couple marbles short of a full bag. I started to get a bit creeped out towards the end. But I did find some great vampire make up, since I'm on the fence for Halloween, and an awesome Wonder WOman costume for my dog. I also was able to download a 25% coupon from retailmenot. SCORE! Got what I needed and skipped out of there.

First off I would like to respond to the previous yelper and say that the local Spirit Halloween stores are a local franchise and have nothing to do with the Internet site. As a matter of fact the local owner would probably be really happy to have your business. I have always enjoyed shopping at Spirit and they seem to make a lot of effort to make a nice attractive store with a lot of cool displays and fun stuff to look at. I have also had good luck finding helpful employees. But this can understandably be hit or miss because they are, after all, a temporary store so I'm sure that means temporary help. Anyway it's Halloween stuff so I think it's best to plan on having fun with it and shop early and you stand a much better chance of being satisfied.
