The complete opposite of pleasant. You can tell they don't appreciate having a job, much less working indoors.

62 year old man, with various medical issues requested assistance understanding how to tape box that I was purchasing. Male employee, with black beard and mustache not only refused to assist, but told me it was not his job to help me tape the box. Just another example of fraud, waste and abuse. Please consider hiring people that are helpful and have compassion.

****update****
They have really stepped their game up at this post office!! Super sweet workers that help with whatever you need!!
The ladies inside were very nice. I am giving 2 stars because for the past 3 weeks I have tried several times daily to call and no one ever answers the phone. So I have driven there twice from San Leon because I need to know where to put our mailbox. Both times they have taken down my name and number and said someone would call me, but it is now been a week again and no call. In the meantime, we have no idea where our mail is being delivered.
Also, last year, when my address was in Dickinson, not San Leon, I had a $700 phone that showed delivered and yet I never received it. The post office said it must have been delivered to the wrong address. Needless to say, I never received my cell phone. I think someone stole it.

For the most part, everybody here is pretty awesome. even the postmaster has helped and as always in a great mood. but whoever the really big tall black guy is. he always has a face mask on. and he's always super rude to me. i mail things several times a week because of my online sales. every time I come in, the process is different for him, and I don't know what the hell i'm doing. even though at the other two post offices and everybody else at this location, does it one way and never confuses me. huey seems to be pissed off when I have more than ten packages. they make so much money off of me. you need to hurry up and retire.

Since when do postal employees enforce having a return adress on a birthday card? Is it really a federal law?

Everything you read is true! I went to put in a change of address as they instructed for me to do on the phone. The lady behind the counter turned up her face at me and said they didn't have any more papers. As I walked out of the building I noticed one in Spanish. I went out to the car and filled it out. She didn't know that I spoke Spanish nor did she take the time to say there are some in Spanish or may be some out in the lobby. She very rude and said we don't have anymore of those and when I asked the African American man standing next to her he frowned up his face stating the same. When I brought it back in filled out the man reluctantly called me up to the counter and she looked over on his side saying "oh, you found one. I see it's in Spanish." I ignored her and allowed him to process it. He completed it and began filling out the top information which is nothing more than the zone, date, expiration date and then his clerk ID info. I stopped him as he was entering the zone info and asked to take a phot and he said oh!, I can't really do that because it has my information on it! I said you haven't written your ID on it yet. That is last. I'd like to believe people believe we as in client's, customers, or consumers are dumb but not all of us are. I may look young but I have 43 years of practice with individuals from all walks of life. Please watch your words, your manners and withhold your tolerance for others because times are changing.

Terrible service. They are not professionals. They really don't work. They get into the client's life.

I have never had an issue with the actual post office but the mail delivery to our business sucks!! They don't pick up mail to be sent off and just pile on new mail instead of picking it up. Horrible drivers but the actual office is okay.

This the most unprofessional post office I've ever dealt with. The morning manager does not return calls. I've had po box for 3 years. Yet my mail continues to be sent back. Three years ago I took my mail box down at my house. The mail man left my mail on the ground. I reported it, They don't care. They made an excuse for that.

Used to leave all my prepaid label packages in the designated area for the postal workers to scan when they got time - NO MORE - one turned up not scanned. Just went missing. So did a customer take it? Did a USPS worker take it? We will never know. Wait in line and have them all scanned - because they turn up missing when left on the counter. Called to ask about it and they never answer the phone.

This post office is extremely unprofessional. I was there this morning and witnessed a customer in line in front of me. He was upset and complaining to the woman at the register. She went to the back and talked very loudly to her coworkers making fun of the customer. Everyone in the lobby could hear her. When coming back to the register she had an extremely poor attitude. The customer then decides to make a complaint and asks the woman her name. She refuses to provide a name and instead yells out to her manager that there is an irate customer. He then approaches the customer and says “what is the issue that you made me get up from my desk for”?. The customer asks the supervisor for his name and he also refuses to provide information. He tells the customer that he needs to leave or he’s calling the police. It was extremely inappropriate and I truly couldn’t believe my eyes that our government employees would behave this way. 0/5 stars if it was an option.
