“This place is the real deal! I attended their Emergency Response Vehicle Mobility Course in March 2026 and it far exceeded my expectations. The classroom time was helpful, but kept to a minimum and most of our time was on the track behind the wheel. The instructors (shout out to excellent head instructor Kirk) struck a perfect balance of maintaining safety while also pushing us outside of our comfort zone and helping us to develop some extreme vehicle handling skills. They were encouraging about what we did well, but provided very specific feedback about mistakes that we made and ways that we could improve.
I'm a civilian and have felt discouraged in the past when exploring tactical training options in the past because so many opportunities are restricted to law enforcement, military, or first responders. Not so with The Ranch. As a tactical-minded civilian looking to challenge yourself and develop real skills, you'll feel right at home here and, in my case, able to train right alongside active duty police and EP agents.
Their vehicle mobility course will change the way you drive and give you a confidence behind the wheel like none other. I would highly recommend training at The Ranch and look forward to doing some of their other tactical firearm courses in the future.
Be forewarned that there may not be much communication when you sign up for a course besides getting a payment receipt. There was not anything from them regarding confirmation beforehand. I ended up reaching out to them 48 hours prior to confirm the course was still on before driving in from out of state. There was also no mention of needing a gate code to get onto the ranch when I arrived the first morning of the training. All that said, once you're on site and meet the team, you'll find they really have a top-notch operation going.”
