I wanted to give huge props to Calvin, the front line of the clinic, who did an amazing job getting me oriented to this unique practice and plugging in my benefits. He is a great asset and set a wonderful tone for what will hopefully be a long partnership. I look forward to circling back after taking next steps with my insurance provider, as they take health plans but not vision plans.

I have recently been taking an elderly family member to see Dr. Lara Dudek at Heart of Texas Eye for some complex vision problems. Dr. Dudek took the time to evaluate and explain things; eliminate possible issues with the eye; and then made the appropriate referrals for brain imaging and neurology. The staff and Dr. Dudek are all great at communication and follow-through — it’s obvious that everyone in her office makes a big effort to provide the best possible care to patients.

I was referred to Heart of Texas Eye Care for a cataract evaluation. I qualified! I saw the professionals there several times, before, during, and after the surgery, which was an astounding success! These folks are really good at what they do!

I had cataracts in both eyes. Decided on Heart of Texas to help me out. Many years ago had LASIK on my worst eye and had it adjusted for near vision. I decided to maintain Mono vision when replacing my lens. OMG the difference is unbelievable. The artificial lens are clearer then the natural lens. It's as if I now have bionic vision. I can read 3 point text with the near vision eye. I have a pair of driving glasses that correct the near vision eye for distance. I wish I could have done this 20 years ago. There were some minor issues after the surgery but all in all, I am extremely happy.

I have confidence in Dr. Lara Dudek and her staff at Heart of Texas Eye Care. If you want an ophthalmologist who is caring, skilled and a great communicator then see Dr. Dudek. I find her staff to be kind and knowledgeable. A great team!
