Milton Reimers Ranch Park is a spacious outdoor destination offering various activities such as hiking, swimming, climbing, and stargazing. Visitors appreciate the easy parking, even on holidays, and enjoy the calm beauty of the Pedernales River, despite some concerns about water clarity. The park features multiple trails, including the lower and upper river trails, which provide a mix of scenic views and moderate challenges with some inclines and rocky areas. Guests recommend bringing essentials like sunscreen, water, and umbrellas, as the park has limited shade and can get quite hot. Some trails are ADA accessible, but first-time visitors may find the trail system a bit confusing. The park is praised for its privacy, with few people around, allowing for a peaceful experience. Stargazing sessions are popular, with telescopes available for families to enjoy the night sky. Overall, Milton Reimers Ranch Park is seen as a hidden gem with plenty to explore, making it a recommended spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
Nice spot! We didn’t have any trouble finding parking, even on a holiday. The river water wasn’t very clear, but people were still enjoying swimming. There’s about a 0.25-mile slope to get down to the river. A great place to spend the day. Bring a parasol, since there’s no shade—or at least I didn’t see any.

Had been for star gazing. They have got 2 telescopes and guide. The kids and adults alike had a great late evening session on watching star clusters and more.
