We rented a car after our vehicle went into the shop. We set up the rental online the afternoon before around 6pm. When we showed up to pick up the car the guy at the counter berated my husband for making a reservation- the day before- and told him not to do that next time because there are no cars. He then found a car at a different location and proceeded to “set everything up” despite our Precheck we bothered to fill out.Well sir, if we had known we needed a rental car days or weeks before, we could have rented one, but unexpected things happen! To be chewed out first thing in the morning for being a customer that was given a confirmation number is simply bad business. If there are no cars to rent, then the website should default to not allowing you to make a reservation. When someone takes time off work to drive over to pick up a car they “reserved” and they get told off instead, it is frustrating and angering for all.Please work on your system giving false hope and customer service that thinks at 53, I need a good talking to. If I had to hunt around for a car, I could have done that in my search process and it would have set an expectation and given me direction of how I needed to set up my day. However, I was lured in with a confirmation number and a Precheck system and thought all was covered. If I needed a lecture, I would go back to school and get credit for it!I’ve used Budget exclusively for years. I’ve never been treated like this before. I know the rental car business is going through changes, but think about the customer experience. There are other options now. I will be considering turo next time.

Dropped off our vehicle and they told us to vacuum it or we would be charged. (She inspected the car before telling us to vacuum it) We also paid for wifi & the tablet charger wouldn’t charge in the car. They want you to vacuum the vehicle so they don’t have to. The images below show how “dirty” the car was prior to vacuuming it. We didn’t have any issues with the car just with the customer service at this location.

People have been answering then leaving me on hold for 10 minutes. I call back... Answer, hold for 10 mins.I have an emergency and have a basic question. Its been 45 mins of this hold game.

I have reviewed about my not so pleasant experience in the past and it only feels right to make another review when I receive more than exceptional customer service. I rent at this particular location often and Diamond makes it a pleasant experience every time. From the greeting when I walk through the door, informing me of all necessary info as well as accommodating me when I’ve had issues with my rental with no fuss. Above and beyond every time. There has been several instances where the rental was not as clean as it should and she “re-cleaned” it. Again with no fuss or attitude like it was an inconvenience. I was shocked to find out she wasn’t a manager! The lady knows her job and does it well.

Horrible service constantly having to fight not to be stolen from very foul when you pay for services and then yet and still people try to rob you and play you stupid when in all actually the stupid one is the one who does have the mind compasity to think three how they caught there on selves up SMH.?

I generally use this location for my rental needs and I have never been more dissatisfied with an experience than I was this last time. Customer service in any business is key and Danny showed absolutely none. From my initial pick-up Friday, there was “no hello”, “how can I assist you”... nothing. I walked up to the counter and he just looked at me. I said “ I have a reservation” his reply, “last name.” I was kind of off put but I just thought maybe he’s having a bad morning. He then put me in a car that I didn’t have a reservation for a 5 passenger vs a 7 passenger. I stated “I told Diamond (is who I usually deal with when making reservations) that I changed my mind and needed a 7 passenger.” He then shared his opinion of his co-worker with me, very unprofessional. You should never express your feelings about your co-worker to a customer, never. I was told to check back and see if they have something later. I was fine with that. I called later when Diamond was in and she resolved the issue and apologized for the miscommunication and inconvenience. Now fast forward to this morning... Danny was there again and I came to drop off my keys. There was a lady in the lobby and I peeked my head in and asked “can I just drop off these keys?” He then replied, “is it clean because if I look at it and feel it’s not clean enough then I’m going to charge you”. I said “it just needs a little vacuum from shoe dust, how much are they going to charge me for that?”. He then replied “$250”. I have never heard of them charging me $250 for shoe dust. To my recollection they have a vacuum in the back for that very purpose. I didn’t argue I left and went to vacuum the car and returned it cleaner than what I received it. Upon my return Danny said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to me. I walked up to the counter he had his hand out for the key, he typed something in the computer, went to move the car, came back in, typed some more in the computer, printed my receipt and handed it to me and that was it. HOW RUDE?! Needless to say I was and still am livid. The only reason why this review got 2 stars is because Diamond resolved my issue and was empathic to the situation. Danny really needs customer service lessons or he needs to find another job.

Thank you for helping us get to New Orleans for Labor Day weekend. The manager, Jenni, was awesome, courteous, friendly and very customer service oriented. I recommend this location above all others. You want excellent customer service then make this location your first choice! Thank you Jenni and all that you do for the customers.

The best place to rent a car! I had been to the Budget in another location and was a nightmare so was kind of weary to rent a car from there again. But thought I would give it a go since it was a different location. Right away when I walked in I was greeted so friendly and welcoming. They made the process easy and quick and told me what was happening. Showed me the car I rented and the car was very clean and taken care of. I love this Budget and will be going here from now on to rent my cars!!!

We did have a headlight that wasn't working. Sadly we didn't notice it till we were out of town. Contact Julie and she tried very hard to fix the issue on her end, but the rental location near us did not have any 7 passenger vehicles available. She did work on a discount and kept in contact with us to make sure we were ok. Awesome Service on both times we have used this place.
