*****Gorgeous salon***** .. You can definitely tell that The owner/s had a vision and they executed it marvelously. From the waiting areas all the way to the different suites, everything was classy, organized and well thought through. This was my first time at this location, but not my first experience with the hair dresser Avonti. For she had been my regular hair stylist at another location a few years back. She's extremely knowledgeable, and you can tell that she takes pride in what she does and she does it well. A lot of hairdressers are about the money, So they will literally allow you to do things and choose services that aren't good for your hair in the long run, but not my girl Avonti . Initially, my appointment was for a double coloring process and traditional sew in weave. When I got there , I learned that because my hair was already overly processed and that what I was asking to have done consist of me bleaching my hair and it was an unhealthy decision. I insisted and kept asking her to just do it , and that I knew and understood that my hair was already damaged from the perms, constantly wearing braids , And heat damage. I was so persistent and I even stated that I was Willing to deal with the consequences later of my hair breaking off , because I had a vision and I wanted to see it . She refused, and explained that she cares about her clients and Their hair journeys, and that her name and reputation would be on the line. For she knew that what I was asking for would eventually end badly . So much respect is given to her, because so many people are out to make the next buck that they won't educate you and or decline your purchase. She cut my ends to a healthy and even length, washed it and then gave me a traditional sew in . I was a little skeptical on how the style would look with having to skip certain steps . I wanted blond roots to blend in with my blond extensions. Having to Skip the dying and bleaching process I ended up with my original black roots on top of my blond extensions. It wasn't my vision per say , but I still end up feeling and looking pretty after.
