Terrible service! I was looking to refinance my car note and consolidate with a personal loan balance. I reached out to NCU inquiring on rates. Spoke over the phone with Shanda, provided her what she had requested and didn't hear back from her. A couple days later, I called again following up and as expected, she didnt even remember me and most likely ignored the email I had sent. Based on the quote provided, I decided to proceed with an application. I was approved for the loan and was only pending a purchase order from my current auto finance company to close the deal. Long story short, I was able to obtain the purchase order but decided not to proceed with NCU, during the process I was never contacted, Shanda not once reached out to follow up, nor to see where in the process I was. The few times we spoke over the phone, she wouldn't even remember me. I had to remind her who I was. That's not a bank I would want to do business with nor less transfer the accounts I have with Chase and WF. That was the main reason I wanted to start a banking relationship with a smaller/local institution, but I guess, local/ smaller banks are worse than big corporations. lesson learned.

I just joined Neighborhood Credit Union and already having issues with customer service and transactions being rejected. I called about adding a mobile card to my Samsung device. I asked for a call back because of the call volume. The Person that answered name was Natalie. I was letting her know that there was no way to ask for mobile services when I called. She proceeded to cut me off and argue with me about the number I dialed. This is my first time even interacting with this credit unions customer service I am sadly dissapointed. As I stated previously this is a new account, they have already rejected a payment that has now caused me a fee with no clear reason as to why it was rejected.

Someone withdrew $2000 from my bank account yesterday. I am going up to the branch in the morning however, I have since found out that 5 other Neighborhood credit union customers had there accounts wiped out on saturday as well. Hopefully the CU will return all of our money.

DO NOT BANK HERE!! I did a dispute and I lost the money on UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS. Horrible bank.

Miss Katie from the Duncanville location she's a very kind helpful person very professional and very helpful so whenever you have a question or in need of anything she will be the one that you need to talk to she can answer any question that you. She always have a smile her face.

Good luck getting your money. They will not release your check for days!!! They hold your check. And let u add up fees. This bank is trash! I've been a member for over 12 years. I'm leaving and going to chase bank. Whoever is in charge need to be fired

I have Wells Fargo and yesterday I used the ATM to withdraw cash. The ATM never dispensed my cash and stood there for 5 minutes. I looked at my Wells Fargo account and it was deducted. I immediately called my bank and filed a claim. I went back to the branch and informed them and quote on quote(African American lady with short hair guessing either she's a supervisor) was nasty and rude, she said" they don't own the machine" I asked if other customers had same issue as I used the machine at 8:15am her answer "it's not relevenst and we don't need to tell you". I asked can I at least get the ATM machines phone number" she said no, she will not provide and I need to call my bank". At this point I just wanted to cry, you are telling me that you guys can't do a count to see, it's your machine your bank. I'm calling the headquarters today and filing a complaint with them about how rude and nasty that branch is. Now I have to wait 10 days from my bank to get my money that Neighborhood bank never dispensed to me on 11/7/2022. I hope the manager reviews this!

I do NOT recommend this branch! As soon as my s/o and I walked in and signed in, we saw the manager with a customer. Another couple walked in and signed in. She then came out of the office walking and talking fast saying it will be awhile because she's the only one there and she just had eye surgery so she can't see that good. The other couple left. We wanted to leave but were there to finalize our application. When we went into the office, we told her we were there to make a deposit to finalize our account... she cut us off saying we could have done it with the tellers... we explained that that wasn't the reason we were there... we proceeded with the process... the whole time it felt like she didn't want to be there... she asked us questions that was already asked and then said that she was the teller manager and we didn't even ask her that... at the end, my s/o said thank you for helping us and she responded with, "I really didn't help you so.", We just decided because of JaQuinta (not spelled right, but it's close to it), we canceled our application and will be going to another bank.
