Excellent seafood options with a Louisiana flare. Friend had the halibut with brussel sprouts. Loved the taste, seasonings and sides. Bread was fresh with creamy butter.Had the crab gumbo. Delicious. Fishy taste with okra and a variety of fish and crab clumps. Had the crab and shrimp Cobb salad. Lots of jumbo shrimp and crab. Place was packed.

This was a rough experience for my family and I. We love this chain, but we had a very disoriented server. We were seated and ignored for about 20 minutes only to have the 5 tables around us seated after us receive their food before us. Refills were hard to come by. When my son asked for a to-go cup, he was given an empty cup and told to put the rest of his table drink in the to go cup. Pappadeaux is priced for you to receive excellent food and service. The food here is excellent. The service was lacking.

I thought pappadeaux seafood in duncanville is one of the top restaurants but obviously not. Infact Mcdonald is organized than them. I ordered food but when I get there the order was not ready. I mean no where to be find and it was close to closing hour which means they couldn't prepare the meal. I have to go get fast food that I don't want to ear initially. Pappadeaux is horrible y'all. 0 recommendation.

Pappadeaux's is a regular for us when we want seafood, but we stopped going as often as we use to go bc the service was lacking. I don't know what they did but there are plenty of Servers there now, and the seemed more attentive than our last dine-in visit there.. The atmosphere is pleasant. Of course there was a wait after arriving this time; not too bad. Surprisingly, there was a long wait AFTER being seated. However, our Server was AWESOME! She went above and beyond to make sure the Managers were aware of the delay with our appetizer, and we enjoyed our experience. Thank you so much. You're greatly appreciated.I must state, I rec'd the BIGGEST plate of blackened Catfish I've EVER remember being served at ANY restaurant, (AND IT WAS DE-LIC-IOUS)! My husband had the Red Fish, and OMG! I dk what happened but ladies and gentlemen, Pappadeaux's did that thang!Thank you, Pappadeaux's staff and employees. Keep it coming! We need to have top notch restaurants, food, and service in our area. KEEP SHINING!

Ordered online to pick up in my car. The gentleman who took my order to my car failed to tell me they didn't have crocodile. Once I noticed I sent inside, they replaced it with calamari. But it took almost 40 min for that to be ready, by that time my food was cold. The manager was aware bcz they asked what was wrong. Very disappointed

The service and atmosphere were excellent. The food was sub par for the price. The appraiser calamari, squid and artichoke came out quickly, but it was not very crispy or hot like maybe it was sitting out for a while or was undercooked. We ordered the large but they only provided one lemon slice. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp and dirty rice, while the shrimp was delicious the dirty rice was not very good. My date had a cup of gumbo. It was good but the shrimp was overcooked.

Food is quality Pappadeaux style and there are no complaints. Service at this location can often be understaffed, but always friendly and customer focused. Typical Pappadeaux atmosphere, so it's familiar and generally friendly no matter the location.Parking: Very large parking lot, note however a good portion of the parking lot at this location is on sloping hillsides.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible path is fairly decent into and around /inside the restaurant and staff makes accommodations as needed for seating. Restroom access into the restroom's themselves at this location are a challenge due to design /layout for wheelchairs or those whom are mobility impaired. Interior doors for restroomsas with most restaurants and many other commercial facilities, the restroom doors' opening force does not meet accessible guidelines of 5 lbs or less. Parking lot is very large with a lot of spaces, however the available number of accessible spaces is very very small compared to the number of clients with accessibility needs (especially actual wheelchair requirements) and there are never enough accessible parking spaces on a daily basis.
