Lou was great and felt like he was our uncle. It was such a nice and inviting atmosphere, and all of the appetizers he recommended, and the fried fish and waffles were delicious! The Étouffée wasn't as thick as what I'm accustomed to, but after all the other delicious items, I was full enough to be satisfied anyway. We ended the night with Beignets, even though we were stuffed, we had to make room for those, and I'm certainly glad we did! I highly recommend visiting!

I love the intimate feel of the restaurant and how welcomed I felt the moment I walked in. The food brings New Orleans right to me and I appreciate that because I’ve never been there. The service is professional, friendly, and attentive. Definitely going back there and I recommend anyone seeing this to give it a try!

I have lived in Texas my entire life and never knew about this establishment and they have been in business for over 12 years. I was beyond satisfied with my first experience to celebrate my birthday with the Pelican House. The manager Lou presented exquisite hospitality and service. I will be returning soon.

Lou was amazing; my company along with me enjoyed the quality of the meals we ordered!Took a while to receive our meals but was expected as everything is made to order!Will visit again!!!

The food was absolutely delicious. I wish I would’ve taken pictures. The chicken drumlets were fried and seasoned to perfection. The catfish was crispy and well seasoned. I will be back.

An absolute gem New Orleans style! From the mouthwatering jambalaya to the delectable crawfish etouffee and catfish , every bite was a taste of perfection. The shrimp creole had me at the first spoonful, and the warmed bread pudding and praline pecan cheesecake sealed the deal – pure bliss! The ambiance is soulful. Lou is the ultimate host, ensuring a delightful experience. The sweet tea is a must!
